Templo Mayor

Not to be missed in CDMX. This is THE place to learn about Mexica culture . The area offers much more than you‘ll see from the outside and the museum has outstanding exhibits .

"Discovered in 1978" though the old sewer line running through the middle says you otherwise. That in itself says a lot about the history of the Templo Mayor and it's people. Don't miss this place.

The site is confusing with its many layors of one pyramid sticking up! Bring a friend who knows the site ;) the museum is the best museum we have visited in Mexico so far! Learned a lot!

Is an excellent choice to understand the history of old Tenochtitlan and is strategically located next to main chatedral and Mexico City main square.

Great experience, so worth it! It is huge, so you may take between 2 and 3 hours there, but it is very nice.

There are signs in English and Spanish so it’s really easy to understand what you’re looking at. This place is huge and 100% worth a visit.

If you are foreigner don't come on Sunday. You will have to pay anyway and the crown won't let you read or enjoy the whole thing

Touch the stones and think about how long they've been there. Also, the museum is split in half. You go up from one side and then go down the other.

All beverages, including water, are confiscated prior to entry--sealed or not.

Sin duda un museo muy bonito, hecho para apreciar las piezas más destacadas del proyecto templo mayor . El pueblo de Tenochtitlán tenía un sentido de la estética y la armonía increíble. Visítenlo ????????

Excelentes piezas de la cultura Azteca, te transportan al pasado con una mezcla de historia y tecnología. Gran museo prehispánico de nuestro México.

Maravilloso museo de sito, todo mundo te atiende bien, la museografía maravillosa y las piezas increíbles, pero lo mejor, el recorrido de la zona arqueológica !!! GRACIAS!!!

Em pleno centro histórico, as ruínas do Templo Mayor podem ser vistas até graça, mas entrar no museu é aprofundar a experiência. Lugar incrível!

Muy interesante! No sabia cuantas etapas había tenido el templo . El museo del templo Mayor esta muy bonito también, cuenta con 8 salas y muchos relatos sobre la cultura mexica pre-hispanica. A visitar

Un lugar que vale la pena visitar más de una vez. Muy espacioso y te permite mirar de cerca piezas exquisitas del México prehispánico.

Hermoso museo justo al centro de la ciudad. Con muestra de los hallazgos más bellos de nuestra Tenochtitlán. Recuerda pedir la visita guiada.

Al día de hoy la zona arqueológica está en trabajos. Bien por el INAH. El museo está muy padre. Puedes hacer un recorrido por varios ámbitos de la sociedad mexica y los comienzos de la Nueva España.

Es un lugar increíble con muy poca información, hay dos historias ocultas; las piezas exhibidas y el cómo las descubrieron, recomiendo vayan con un guia, las explicaciones están muy escuetas.

No esperaba que la visita fuera gratis. El museo me parece bien planificado, es de los que mayor colección tiene, piezas bien conservadas y además disfrutas la ruta arqueológica.

genial cuando vas a aprender sobre nuestras raíces, si solo llevas niños y todos tontean juntos no se aprende nada, hay q ir a leer y saber exactamente q estás viendo, como esto no hay 2 en el mundo

Cada dia se hacen descubrimientos nuevos en las ruinas...pero el museo ya esta descuidado y le han quitado cosas,maquetas y la fuente con la vasija Tláloc se extraña era muy hermosa

Si te interesan las culturas prehispánicas, no puedes dejar de visitar el Templo Mayor , ruinas de un antiguo templo azteca. También visita el museo , donde admirarás piezas prehispánicas únicas.

Imperdible para amantes de la historia, requiere unas 3 horas para ver todo con detenimiento. Acceso gratuito a menores de 13 años y estudiantes. En la entrada hay paquetería.

Si hacen un recorrido cerca del atardecer las vistas y contrastes son increíbles. Pueden ver la puesta desde el 3er piso del museo : un espectáculo increíble.

Impresionante vale la pena tomarse el tiempo de ver cada ficha, en domingos es gratis, tiene algunas cosas interactivas para llevar a los niños y empaparlos un poco de historia.

La entrada cuesta $51.00, los domingos es gratis. Tiene actividades académicas, ciclos de cine , talleres, y presentaciones de música y teatro .
