Great selection of real ales , well kept. The occasional beer festivals are worth a pilgrimage!

Fish and Chip Fridays are a must as are the Sunday roasts but book ahead for both!

Had the most awful curry dinner here a couple of months ago. Rice felt like microwaved Uncle Ben's. Rice ! How much mistake can one make to get rice wrong? Otherwise, a nice pub for drinks.
