Home to at least 4 microbreweries . Regular music nights. Great real ales .
Friendly atmosphere and good selection of beer
Meze Bar nearby sells great Greek food and you can take your own drink on
Very nice and friendly with own micro brewery . The Citra Hit and Half Nelson are very nice if on :-)
Always good fun on a Friday and stays open quite late. Live music every Thursday night.
They stop serving food fairly early, so you can order pizza to the pub instead.
Farmers Boy has their own microbrewery producing some interesting beers .
Avoid the IPA
Hot as hell. With beer .
Great Sunday roasts, good selection of well-kept ales, big garden with chickens and of course Sammy, the best pub dog (IN THE WORLD) - Jeff Vernon
Really great little pub & always has been. Good value Thai menu is highly recommended. Green curry & a pint for under a tenner. - Joll Benn
Nice staff, prices have been reduced to a more reasonable level. Nice atmosphere. Bread, houmus and oils are lovely. - Sarah Maguire
Try the seasonal turkey, bacon and Bree toastie from the cafe. Really tasty and a good price (around £6.50 with a drink and bag of crisps!) - Nick Oliver
Fish and Chip Fridays are a must as are the Sunday roasts but book ahead for both! - Jeff Vernon
