Vesturbæjarlaug is a swimming pool Vesturbær Reykjavik located in Iceland.
Hofsvallagötu 101 Reykjavik Iceland
The only spot worth visiting while in Reykjavik. It won't cost you an arm, and locals hang out here. The pools were excellent. Must visit.
Vesturbaejarlaug is my favorite pool in Reykjavik. At first it may be weird to enjoy an outside-pool without a roof in winter, but after a short time it feels just great! Wonderful!
Great spa ! 25m swimming pool , 1 big hot bath, 2 smaller even more hot, 1 cold, steam bath, sauna with calvaria. All in one ticket. Very cheap with city card. Love it.
Nice local pool. You must shower without clothes before entering the pool, or the Icelandic people will rip you limb from limb (or just yell at you).
Go in the evening to enjoy the pools and relax with locals. Walk all the way into the steam room through the second door for a wonderful steam.
Not so many tourists and a really great pool to hang out in. I enjoy going from the 44 degrees pool to the 12 degrees pool and alternating between these two.
950kr entrance fee for access to the pool, hot tubs and steam room - perfect place for a rainy/gloomy day
The new hotpots maybe make this the best 101 pool. Good opening hours, well kept, lots of room. Great!
Apparently there is a separate ticket for the sauna . Bring your own towel as the rental is almost as much as the entire admission.
Very relaxing. There is a dry sauna inside. Ask at the reception, you will have to pay a few isk more to get a key to it.
Go swiming. Icelandic pools are more like spas filled have clean warm water. Enjoy showering naked with same sex Icelanders .
A few hot tubs . Try the super jets in the main wading pool but be careful, they're strong!
Really great outdoor pool and 4 different temperature tubs!
Outdoor changing rooms available!
The men's room is being renovated. Bring sandals, it's abit messy in there.
Take a swim with the locals.
Don't forget your swimstuff and a towel!
Nýi potturinn er geðveikur
Góð gufan og nuddpotturinn
Excellent local choice for swimming and hot tubbing. It's not a Blue Lagoon spa, but it's cheapish and the outdoor hot pools are great. - Marius Watz
Sundlaug is my favorite public pool in Reykjavik; nicest facilities by far. - Matthew Littrell
The Avokado salad came with an amazing dressing and berries!! Loved it - Karen Dolva
My favorite neighborhood grocer. For such a tiny grocer the selection is unbeatable. Sushi selection for a quick meal totally recommended - Victoria Wong
Everything is incredibly good here, i would reccomend a Bragðarefur with at least some cookie dough and oreo's ???????????? - Rafn Àgúst Ragnarsson
