Just in case I forget to say thank you to the home of the Oscars , thank you to the Dolby Theatre for a star studded, enchanting evening for this little girl from red dirt to red carpet ... Thank you...

The acoustics . The former Dorothy Chandler Pavilion/ Kodak theater is now the Dolby. It's the best musical venue for individual performers in Los Angeles.

Opened in 2001, the theatre seats 3,401. The Grand Staircase is surrounded by columns displaying the names of Academy Award Best Picture winners with blank spaces left for future winners.

This theater is always a spectacular experience, it Hollywood, it's got style and elegance, the staff is amazing and the shows are top shelf .

i paid to see spider man at the former chinese theatre, or actually next door to it and I walked out bc movies are so boring for me and i'm in Hollywood on my way to Beverly Hills , Malibu, Bel-Air....

my LA friend had to point out that this is the location of the Grammy Awards. otherwise, i would have missed its significance.

It's a shame the name changed, but it's still an incredible theater. You should definitely go to see Cirque du Soleil Iris

Great show, and a great cast..really love the Chinese guys ay end of first act. Pre order Ur drinks for intermission to avoid long lines .

Look closely at the pillars leading to the theater and you'll see the title of each best picture winner , on the backside are future dates.

its a good intro to Cirque , but with the tiny space in the Kodak, its not nearly as impressive as some of the other shows. But since the Kodak IS tiny there isnt a bad seat in the house

Mezzanine or Orchestra seats were great...long lines for the bar during intermission...but you if you buy them there you can bring them in
