Magic Island

Lesser-known (hence less touristy ) but beautiful beach . Head to the lagoon at the end for great swimming and seclusion. Wonderful picnic spot and the best place to watch the sunset .

The beach here is a great place for kids, the water is flat and there are many exiting thing to see. But there are a lot of people.

Head out to the high point of the protected beach if you want to take pictures of the sunrise or sunset . It's an elevated surf break that affords a great view of Waikiki and Oahu's "west side".

Went during a windy and rainy day but still a nice walk around the area and beautiful. Would like to visit again when it is sunny!

As of Summer 2013 the Hilton Hawaiian Village has two firework shows : Tuesdays at 2000 hrs and Fridays at 1945 hrs. Pull up a chair and enjoy the show from Magic Island.

We spent a lot of time in this park around at 4 pm with a great sunset .

It's a lagoon so this is a great place for swimming . There's a grassy area for picnics and bbqs. Popular wedding photo spot !

Best beach for families and kids on Oahu. But the beach is always too "coraly" so wear shoes .

You should spring for the ride on the gigantic ferris wheel - It's worth it for the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head and Magic Island alone.

Spectate high school paddling races on Saturday mornings! Expect traffic and crowds beginning at 7:30 as athletes and spectators arrive.

The shallow water is fun to swim in.

Look out for the Birdman. If he sneaks up on you a flock of birds will be upon you in seconds!

The sunsets here are beautiful! The bathrooms on the other hand, are not. Change before you get here!
