Extraordinary place to eat @ Chinatown. Everything is delicious and if you are a big party taste&share. Tip: you can bring your own wine or beer free of charge.
We always want to go to different places in the area but we keep coming back to Joy Yee. With their gigantic menu, there's something for everyone in your group to enjoy.
Serving sizes are definitely for two. Had the black pepper beef and it was delicious. Rice could've been fresher though.
The best tapioca bubble tea selection in all of Chicago. Made from fresh fruit Great quick Chinese food as well .
Every fruit u can imagine is available for their smoothies . Big portions of food and good service
The bubble tea take out window is what we drove all the way to the chinatown location to experience.
This place is incredible, and severely underrated. The portions are huge, food terrific, and prices are reasonable. Authentic Chinese food at its best.
If you are visiting Chinatown you MUST get a drink from Joy Yee. My favorite is the red bean coconut milk freeze with tapioca !
Everything I've had here was awesome! The lemongrass wings and udon soup is to die for!
You maybe far but distance won't bar me from going back for the mango-passion fruit smoothie with black pearl . I LOVE IT!!!
Plentiful menu options and servings are large. BYOB .
Beef short ribs , pho noodle soup , bubble teas galore... This is heaven!
Hands down the best udon noodles and try the Vietnamese ice coffee with coffee jelly ...
The food is great. Udon , egg rolls , etc. Atmosphere is a bit annoying - it's like a cafeteria .
Frozen fruit smoothies are a must. Watermelon lychee is heavenly. And try the mango softshell crab roll !
Order Orange Tofu ... it's not on the menu , but they'll still make it! It's beyond good! Fried Tofu covered with their delicious Orange sauce and some broccoli :-)
String beans with salty fish is yummmay!!! String beans nice and crunchy and the portions are decent
On your way, stop by Chinatown Square to see the statues (year of the rat , rooster, etc.) to learn about the traits of your birth year. Then... set aside a good chunk of time to peruse the 500 or so
Get a fruit drink with tapioca NO MATTER WHAT!! and try the Vietnamese veggie spring rolls - delicious sauce dip ! ask for two!
I <3 this place! The cuttle fish appetizer is out of this world. If you like calamari , you'll love it!
Great selection of bubble tea . Menu has a bunch of bubble tea pics.
So good, I got the basil chow fun and it was amazing.
Great all natural fruit smoothies for a cheap price! Best bang for your buck & refreshing!
The tapioca always seems to be overcooked or undercooked here. Menu is a giant garbled mess. I genuinely don't understand why it's so popular when it's surrounded by killer restaurants .
Portion sizes are huge, so be prepared to share with the table or have leftovers! Lychee and papaya freeze is delicious, as is the jackfruit sprite.
Bubble Tea and Garlic Pea Tips. Both excellent!
I heart the bubble teas ! So many great choices! Top three milk tea , green tea and red bean !
The menu is extensive! If you cant decide, close your eyes and point in the menu. Its all really good :-)
Sugarcane shrimp w rice noodles
Huge selection and everything is delicious!
Awesome for bubble tea or any tasty Asian cuisine that you may be craving. Portion size is enough for two.
Bubble Tea and Smoothies are great! I love the food here too.
Go for the 450 item (no joke) menu. Stick with Chinese dishes . And finally, stay for the fruit blend-ups...i recommend the Strawberry-Lemon Iced tea
Love the smoothies and the chow mein ! Haha
I became instantly addicted to the ginger black milk bubble tea . It's pretty spicy-gingery.
Green tea frozen yogurt available for carry out . Delicious!
Best bubble tea and noodles . Love this place!
Peach lychee bubble tea is a must-have if you come here
get the bubble tea or regret not getting any!
Taste nasty. I asked for fix,and employee dumped simple syrup in my cup. Ewwww more worst! Bad service. Pay $5.70 for nasty drink without icing cuz she dumped the simple syrup instead make a new one
Red bean shaved ice and scallop with meat sauce in stone bowl is great
Don't get the jumbo noodle soup unless you and friends/family are really hungry
Go to Joy Yee's for their bubble tea . Almond milk tea or any combination of the fresh fruit (my favorites are mango / strawberry / lychee/ pineapple ) drinks!
Kung fu bubble tea is better. It's upstairs!
Get the Pad Thai with Tofu and the Malaysian shrimp ! Spicy and delicious! Read more
Get a coconut and red bean freeze with whole red beans (not blended). It's a treat you can drink *and* eat!

I’ve been here quite a few times. They offer cheese tea now, it’s delicious. They also have the bubble waffle! I was so excited. It’s a nice place to do shabu shabu. - Xinnie
I had a good time in Chinatown, & it was definitely one of the highlights of my Chicago experience. Stock up on candy, bubble tea, & cultural goods! I just wish there were more entertainment options. - Daniel Crum
Beautiful place for a picnic or bird feeding. Small playground for children and also a stop on the water taxi tour - Maia Feruzi
Aji Ichiban has an extensive selection of candies, not just sweet, but salty as well. Look for unexpected flavors of familiar products like Oreos and Kit-Kats. - Jonathan Ferrera
