A great place to relax and enjoy nature along a mile long boardwalk or take the 1/2 mile way. There are areas to sit in shade and a nature museum .
Lots of wildlife , particularly waterfowl. Bring your camera . Almost no cover on the boardwalk so also bring water, hat, and/or sunscreen .
Early morning and late afternoon wonderful wildlife sightings and local photographer hangout...alligators can be seen on cool days sunning.
The bird watching is awesome i spotted at least 20 different birds not native to Florida and it's a awesome place do check it out
Bring your nature eyes! Lots of frogs, birds, turtles , crocodiles and fish
