What a place and nature. Also a beautiful spot for group parties. Clean restrooms . Trash free park . Don't forget to take your trash with you.
Great place to hike and climb. Saw a den of copperheads last time I was there so be aware of your steps in thd rocks.
Great trail . Pretty easy for inexperienced hikers. You can do a 6 mile loop that is relatively flat.

Parking is tough at most places along the C&O. Weekdays are best. EARLY on the weekend. Bug repellant during the season. VERY pleasant in spring and fall. Bring your camera. - Jack Diamond
