Great atmosphere at one of the oldest restaurant in Barcelona. A pianist plays hits songs adds to the vibe. There is no dress code but will be nice to dress up for a date at this restaurant .

It is as pricey as they say bit the ambiance is worth it! We have tried the canneolli with beef and paella with lobster and meat, both very delisious. Try their one of their house-wines too.

Elegant setting in this culture rich restaurant , welcomed by beautiful piano performance inside. Had the best gazpacho in my life and really balanced and flavourful paella , well worth many revisits!

Very good paella , especially the squid ink one. Crema Catalana stuffed apple is very good, although skip crema catalana . Fancy-like venue, booking recommended. Quite expensive .

Amazing paella & sea food . Pricy , elegant arrive early or make a reservation . Not a Dress code but try not to go like if you were just going out from the beach this place is very nice and elegant.

It’s an iconic rest. of BCN. The food is really good and the service depends on the waiter you get, it’s a lottery . They serve real paella , also try croquettes . Desserts are made by the pastry Chef .

Agree with most of the comments here: Excellent Paella , good range of wines , a bit overpriced, too classy for the type of cuisine. Have just the Paella and a glass of wine !

No.1 paella for a reason. I really liked the idea of having the name of the person who has eaten in your table on the receipt. Some pretty cool people have dined there!

Rich's man paella (fish only), marinated mussels and small seafood plate are perfect!

Awesome fancier restaurant w great seafood paella , steak with peppercorn sauce , and truffle cannellonis . Also loved the sparkling cava wine !

Sangria is very good, you should try small seafood plate , snails are amazing and oysters are worth to try. They do not know english so make sure what you ordered. :) -waiting for the paella :)

Could be the best paella served in Barcelona served with great sea food salad and delicious sangria . Remember to check the back of your seat to see which famous star had his/her dinner there.

Absolutely delicious! The paella was perfectly cooked and so good that my sister and I kept going back for some more. everything was perfect!

If you find to eat good paella , you are the right place. Prices are not too much, all right I think. Their sangria is the best sangria I have ever tasted in BCN. Paellas are about 20€, sangria is 16€

Established in 1836.Try Paella with seafood , seafood plate , mussels with onions and tomato , Sangria dry one or Sp red wine Torres or Pingus Chocalate desserts are nice too. Reservation is needed.

Catalan food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service . For the most tender meat ever, go for the lamb with potatoes . Paella also good. So are the desserts .

Best paella in barcelona . Beautiful restaurant and great service. If you are two and do not want to spent a lot of money you can take one paella and cava 1/2. You get full :)

Paella prices from 15 to 23 euro. We had the king choice only with seafood and it was delicious. Maybe it is a bit expensive but you should definetly come here and try! 2 people can share one paella

The traditional paella has shelled seafood (except lobster tail ) and is very good. The truffle cannelloni is also fantastic.

Delicious paella with fresh seashells, good service and a great atmosphere with loads of history. We dined at Woody Allen and Ava Gardner's table, can't deny that it added a little extra excitement :)

Best paella in Barcelona is 7 Portes' Paella Parellada. A nice jamón , some bunyols de bacallà (cod fritters ) and paella for 2 if you're 3 (portions are huge) and you're good to go!

authentic Catalan cuisine, lemon & butter mussels were good. also the lobster paella & squid ink paella were good. they also offer good tapas . live piano music .

Paella is so good! But also so salty so just beware of that if you're not too keen on salty food. But this place is a deffo must see and I will be recommending to all my friends

Favorite restaurant in Barcelona. Paella is very delicious, Rich man's Paella (fish only) and Back Rice I can recommend. but be careful original Paella is very salty . Ask make it not salty , "Sin Sal"

Old timey ambience, gets very busy later in the evening, pallela may take 30 mins to one hour to make. Try the other items as well , they are very good

Don't fall into the tourist traps, spend a little more and get your money's worth! Local place and food, good atmosphere, great seafood , paella , wine and crème brulée . I'd say don't miss it.

Old fashioned in a good way. Tried paella for the first time and it was very tasty. Service is good but they take their time slow. All visitors are tourists .

This is certainly the city 's most famous paella , which is always good. Try also seafood and rice dishes prepared in traditional way like Fideuà with prawnsor the Zarzuela with lobster .

Had fish and seafood paella and Mr.Paco‘s dessert . Delicious! Nice staff , fine place. Check which famous person was seated at your table once in the past.

We had an excellent evening with good wine , very good gazpacho and a great parellada. Apart from the food, the service was also remarkable.

Don't believe the negative reviews you read. Great paella reasonably priced, 11 euro bottle of good house white wine . And to top it off, this beautiful 175 year old restaurant offers free wifi !!!

Worth the wait! Had to wait 45min for a table, but a pleasant wait wIth a glass of sangria . Delicious paella and yummy rich chocolate mousse . Good service .

Seafood paella is very delicious. The portions are pretty big, so you can consider sharing the plates. The service was very slow. There was a nice live piano music .
