Barceloneta Beach

The most crowded beach in Barcelona due to it’s location at the Barceloneta metro stop – it’s reachable on foot in 20-30 min from center. This naturally leads to an abundance of sellers and litter.

Very crowded during busy period. Also you will get people asking you thousand of times if you want a massage or a mojito .. But still a great place to be when you have enough of the city

More tourists come here but there're people offer massage €10 for 15 mins. Great way to unwind after walking all day. Have some outdoor workout area as well if you fancy a workout

Great place to stop for a midday nap after long walking through the city . Topless or wearing clothes , doesn't bother anybody. Early afternoons with the sun going down have an amazing atmosphere!

Beautiful lovely beach ????️ nice atmosphere. The beach offers a wide variety of activities, restaurants , and bars . but the beach can be crowded and noisy . Especially on summer????

Probably my preferred place in the magic city of Barcelona. Enjoy so much running or skating along the beach . If you feel so you can rent a paddle board in one of the 2 skate shops.

Beautiful beach (with 20 degree Celsius temperature in first week of January) made it a great place to shrug off winter layers & catch on Vitamin D. Tip: laze around w/ beer , watching sunset & people.

Nice beach ! Water was clean . Crowded but what do you expect in a city like Barcelona. Good locker room and place to lock your stuff up

I could stay there for a full day and would never get enough of it. Has everything you need. Now I know where Dubai beaches were inspired from.

The beach is nice to go to. You can eat and drink in bars near the beach . One very annoying part: there are a lot of guys who constantly pass by and shout:sangria , mojito ,... it really annoyed me!

Firstly the good points. Very clean , quality soft sand and plenty of topless for women, the bad points.... People constantly annoying you asking to sell water, beer , clothes , massage or towels.

Probably the best beach in Barcelona . Big, lovely and clean . But if u are looking for no touristy places, it would be your last choice.

This is a very touristic beach , besides the crowds, you have a beautiful beach very close to the old town with many facilities.

Really love the atmosphere. nice for sun, swimming , walking, thinking... Peaceful place . Easy to park your car in the parking garage across the street. Walking distance from city center.

Great beach with warm, clear water (here in July) with no current. There's a lifeguard and plenty of places to get cheap mojitos ! Very crowded but if you don't mind it's great

Nice beach . Amazing to be able to see that at 20 minutes walking from Placa Catalunya. Try to avoid the week end... Too busy

People gather here during events . Lots of bars and cafes along the beach .

Pleasant to have swim in and great for just staring into from the sand. I appreciate the outdoor showers nearby.

Very many people there, prickly sand, rocky bottom. You should go 500 meters and you will find nice beach Nova Icària with soft sand and sand bottom. There are not so many people as on Barceloneta.

This beach is very rocky. I prefer the sand at some of the beaches to the north, but its vibrant and alive and people walk down the beach selling mojitos , sangria , and beer .

Quiet during December and January and that's the best thing about it in slow season. Perfect for a run too!

Love the good vibes around! Would prefer the other beaches for swimming but this is the best to hang around with friends!

Even tho' it was in November, still make you feel like swimmin! You should definitely come here and take a rest for a while as you listen to the sound of the waves

Barceloneta is not a only gay beach . Its mixed. But is very gayfriendly and you can find a lot of hot guys here. Its clean and nice here.

It's a must in Barcelona, however this is not the best beach around. Lot of tourists , and people doing work out.

Everybody is smoking wet here,that's why you can't enjoy fresh sea air.I understand that it is the most popular beach ,but I don't recomand to spend here a day, just visit and go to Nova Marbela Beach .

The beach is unimpressive, but it's worth taking a stroll or riding a bike along the boardwalk if the weather's nice.

Now this is where you go if you want to get to the water. Huge beach , really quite long and cool to either chill at, go swimming , or just for a stroll.

Tons of noisy tourists , so it's a great spot if you're into that sort of thing! Otherwise, I'd recommend another beach !

Full of young people and it makes me feel up! The sea is not the best ive ever seen but i like this place anyway

A very nice walk besides the beach ! There were many surfers which was odd since we visited late November.

Nice beach , very crowded . Vendors selling beach towels - a but of bargaining involved. I didn't buy one but a group got it down to 7 euros
