I love this place so much! Such a good neighborhood go to with fresh mixed drinks and amazing food! My favorite is the platano relleno and the arepas….oh and all the tacos ????

Vegetarian arepa-crispy filled with mushrooms sautéed in red wine sauce & cheese topped with guacamole & salsa $11. Grilled octopus tapas with grapefruit & mango salsa also amazing $11.

Ended the night at this great spot. The yuca burger with the yuca fries , churasco , and paella were all delicious. The latin music was a perfect touch.

The mojitos are on point.???? And I strongly recommend ordering the shrimp quesadilla , and if you still have room left in your tummy, try the skirt steak .

Me and my fiancé sat in the outdoor seating area . The weather was beautiful and the food was amazing. The staff is friendly and the overall place was awesome. I give yuca bar an A++

Come here on Tuesdays for half priced tapas and drinks before 8 - ain't nothing wrong with that! Added bonus: their sangria is delicious.

Arepa Benedict (with the ham !) is one of the best brunch options near Tompkins Park . Not a bad Bloody Mary either.

Arepas benedictos...so amazing! The home fries are a mix of regular and sweet potatoes with peppers . Great blend of flavors.

The queso fundido and octopus were both good appetizers , but the carnitas platter for 2 was just a bunch of ok tasting meat. The Yuca Tai cocktail is sweet and delicious!

2L pitcher of sangria for $35 during happy hour ! Dishes are larger than the usual tapa sizes. Platano rellenos and the taquitos con carne were delish!

The food was great, but they don't take reservations for parties of 10 or more for some reason that makes no sense. We waited 2 hrs for a table on Friday night. It was still worth the wait!

Amazing service and amazing Latin food. The passion fruit margarita and the platano relleno are my favorites.

The drinks and food here are amazing!! It can get super crowded and loud , but the atmosphere gives off a lively vibe.

Tapas plates seem pricy at the beginning but they are big portions do well worth it. BBQ pork ribs and plantain with pulled pork .. Both delicious.

Awesome deals: Tuesday happy hour , prixe fixe brunch , and regular beer deals ($3 for a Modelo on our last visit!). The bar area can get pretty loud during the weekend, so be prepared to yell.

go on Tuesday for half price tapas . order the guac , vegetarian arepa , steak taquitos . down a pitcher of red sangria . write me a thank you letter later.

Fun spot! The pitchers of sangria are huge. Get drunk and order the puerquito cubano - it's big enough for two!

Great atmosphere but lots of the dishes were surprisingly sweet. Stick to the savory stuff (no coconut lime dressing ) and you'll love it.
