Saboten listens to their customers! The chicken katsu is juicy now, far from the dry one I got when I first visited. Service has also done a complete 180 - proactive and pleasant.
Tried the Miso Katsu for my first visit. The katsu was moist and tender complimented by the miso sauce . If you want more options you could try the Yuki or Hana set it includes 2 apps and ice cream
The tenderloin (without fats) is soft, tender and juicy. Better than Yabu I might say! Except for the katsu , everything else is unlimited from the cabbage to the pickles to the miso soup to the tea .
Original katsudon tastes better than the other katsudon jap resto i've been to here on Manila. Side dish was simple but delectable. We'll definitely go back to try their radish katsudon .
BEST. KATSU . EVER. Everything here is better than Yabu! Their pork , panko , cabbage and sesame dressing -- a lot better. Try their Shrimp and Tenderloin Set ! I'm sure all Katsu lovers will love it!
Very friendly services . Generous amount of shredded cabbage to begin with. Tried the Hana set and am very please with it. Value for money = salad , 2 picked, tonkatsu port , miso soup + ice cream .
We have tried different katsu places in the metro-- but this is the BEST yet! Yummy food, great service, clean and warm ambience. Definitely coming back! :)
I love their Special Saboten set as it contains 1 tenderloin, 1 porkloin, 1 crab & 1 shrimp . Definitely not bad for a first timer :-)
Gotta love the shredded cabbage and garlic sauce , bottomless miso soup and their shrimp set! Two thumbs up!
Everyone is raving about their food so I'll rave about their excellent service. They have lemon water upon request. It's these littlest things that made me smile. ????????????
Service is real good. Katsudon and sauces are amazing. Eat all the rice you want, sip all the miso soup you want, its surprisingly good. ????
The pork loin tasted really good! And don't forget to finish your good meal with their delicious chocolate hazelnut dessert ! Will go back.♥
You should try their pork tenderloin roll with asparagus filling! Love everything here..but i find it too heavy though..
tasty and juicy tonkatsu ! fast service too. just have to be there early because of the long line
Accidentally left my iphone5 after having lunch but really thankful na the waiter found it while cleaning our table and gave it to the manager for safekeeping. Good job Saboten Serendra! :)
Worth every penny, good service , lots of variety for imported beers . Unlimited cabbage and sticky rice and awesome Yuki Set! ????????
Unbeatable quality and price. Tenderloin Tonkatsu , all you can get cabbage , rice and miso soup for under 400 peso!!!
Looove everything! Even the cabbage tastes good. The service is wonderful, the food, exemplary. Will definitely come back!
It has been a while since last saboten ... shredded cabbage served without the Japanese salad sauce ...the bottle was missing from my table. Details details please.
Saboten's Special Sharing Set is amazing! ;) worth the bucks :D the people here are really nice too!
Excellent service ! They have free green tea either hot or cold and try their crab creme coquette.all food are delectable here!
It may look pricey but it's worth it! Shredded cabbage and their awesome sauce. I loved their Tenderloin cut!
By far and away the best Katsu joint in the metro. The only downside is their AIR-CONDITIONING. It got really stuffy in there. Smh
They have different versions of katsu . Try the grated radish katsu for something out of the ordinary.
Very nice unli cabbage , try their shrimp set. Also katsu lovers its really nice! Yummy
They gave my so-in-a-tantrum son a coloring set to entertain himself. Saboten is a child friendly resto with good food.
Get the mixed set to try the crab cream croquette ! Or, for something different, try the miso katsu :)
I tasted several of their menu already, really great, absolutely clean and tasty!
Great food, good service ! Try the pork loin with grated radish.-cq
Unlimited rice , enough portions. Will definitely be back given the chance. #saboten #serendra #thefort #foodie
No reservation , it can be hard to get a table but its all worth it.
To try: Original tenderloin set, Matcha lychee almond cake , Strawberry shortcake
Miso Katsu set & mille feuille katsu for sharing! Super worth it! ????
The interiors are bright and clean . The unlimited kani salad is very good!
Unlimited Cabbage , Rice and Miso soup ! Nice food! :)
Sorry to compare, but it's better than Yabu. Pork is tastier, loved the loin. Thumbs up!
Best katsu I've had!!! Try their loin if you want just the right amount of fat ;-)
Maybe we were at fault too because we were so full and it took us 2 hrs to finish our meal but they still forgot to serve our desserts-vanilla ice cream & choco hazelnut cake .
Better than Yabu and Ginza Bairin. But they didn't allow us to order one set and share the cabbage anymore :( Still better service and presentation than Ginza.
The food is GREAT! Service was generally nice except for the cashier who was not as friendly as the other crew.
If you're a curry lover, try their loin curry , you won't be disappointed... :)
This has the best ambiance so far among the katsu joints.
that choco hazelnut cream cake is a must try! so delicious!
Delicious Curry Tenderloin is our family favorite
Good Tonkatsu especially the tenderloin pork ... Good Service !
Good food, good service at a good price. Will be back here.
Katsu heaven. I love Yabu but this is better than Yabu.
Great service. Dishes way better than Yabu.
Go for the green tea ice cream with bean powder. ♥
Pleasantly amused with their unlimited cabbage bowls :-)
leek and saffron cream with dory fillet -- surprisingly light and refreshing. and the home made cinnamon and apple tea, dessert on your mouth :-) - van kirsty pili
baked salmon and chicken ala kiev! their buffalo wings is the best one i have tried - Janine Goyena
The coffees are good (I liked my iced hazelnut latte), and the choco cream pie was really nice. Yes to chocolate mousse pls (and not too sweet either!) - Nina A.
Shredded cabbage and miso soup for the win! No need for rice :) Their house blended ice tea was also one of the best! :) - Chesca Ferrer
The best food experience in Manila.. they care about the details from the sides to the main courses. Chicken & prawn Katsu, prawn burger, fried rice, and the French fries they are all great. - Faisal abdullah
We tried Dark chocolate and strawberry ???????? it's fantastic. And the staff is super friendly ???? definitely recommend - Jane
Lovely space overlooking Bonifacio HIgh Street. Recommend finding a nice chair to sit and read or do work. - An Xiao
