Every ny'ers delight- focus on the food and less on the decor. Your hole in the wall - a compliment. Takes a while to roll out the food but its made fresh including tortilla . The goat taco was great!
Cemitas!!! Try the Brody Cemitas under Specials. So bomb, & it’s a cute/quaint spot with a lot of character!
Cozy little place with wonderful Mexican food . Feels like you're getting a home-cooked meal. A number of great vegetarian options , including killer "Azteca" cemita. Be prepared to wait though.
Literally everything is good. I highly recommend you try the enchiladas . They are amazing and unlike any enchiladas you're currently familiar with. BTW The service is excellent.
Juancho Cemita with chorizo is phenomenal! It's huge, too. So don't fill up on chips . Which are also very fresh and delicious.
Juancho Cemita : Cactus , potatoes , beans, avocados , onions , tomatoes , Oaxacan cheese , chipotle, lettuce, jalapenos , pungent pápalo, and your choice of meat in the slightly crunchy sesame seed bun . Read more
Mexican comfort foods , staring crema , cotija , and nopales . The Horchata here is a lovely take on the silky style, lightly spiced. Hell yeah!
From bright blue walls to a dozen-plus nacho plates, the tucked-away spot is known for irrististibly rich (and inventive) takes on Latin comfort dining.
Delicious, cute and inexpensive restaurant serving Cemitas (try the Chorizo ), Tortas (taste the Chivo Enchilado) and Tacos (yummy Cecina and Lengua ).
Try the massive portion of chile rellenos which is piled high with melted Oaxaca cheese .
Got the Plato Juancho with Veggies . Great food and sangria !
Best place to get authentic Mexican food . 100% Recommended.
Hole in the wall Mexican restaurant , super authentic and delicious for a very reasonable price!
Checked in for the first time and didn't realize there was a newbie special! They added a free taco to my order. Cute place!
Nice, clean place. Friendly staff . The chicken fajitas with peppers will make you wonder why you haven't been here before. Very light and non-greasy.
Cemita with Carnegie enchilada huge and delicious. Fresh sesame bread , poblano pork , stringy Mexican cheese .
Get the spicy pork or chorizo in your burritos ! Also, make sure you get the tacos "con todo." Amazing Mexican food .
Tacos + BYOB ! Unlimited chips and salsa . Great spot on the UES.
Two words. Chorizo Cemita.
Best tacos in East Harlem ... Recommend getting everything on them. Inexpensive , great service, overall pleasant experience.
The cemitas are like if Mexico and a greasy spoon diner had a baby and put it on a bun . To be eaten. So good.
Get the sopes and the enchiladas . They also make their horchata in the restaurant
The Pork Carnitas "Cemita" has been called the "best Mexican sandwich on the Island "
Cemitas and tortas are spectacular
Cemitas. Spicy goat tostada . Enchiladas
Cemita tasted even better the next day!
Save room for dessert ! The tres leches is homemade .
Excellent excellent excellent!
Cemitas are awesome and the enchiladas are so good
