There are a few places where you can park to pick up the trail . Talk to someone at the park office if you aren't sure. Fall views are spectacular!
This place is even more beautiful when you leave no trace of your visit. Please take all of your trash with you. The park provides trash bags at the rock ridge and rapids parking lots .
This place is great!!! Try claiming from the bottom first.
Watch "tuck everlasting", this and falling branch are in it :)
Yellow jackets were seen here and someone saw a copperhead on the verticle climb .

Saw two snakes on the Stocksdale trail today. One was on the main trunk, along the river, and the other was on the backend of the trail up the hill overlooking the river. Be alert. - Brandon Williams
