Easily one of the best hiking spots in MD. Plenty of trails for any skill level. Open all year round.
Saw two snakes on the Stocksdale trail today. One was on the main trunk, along the river , and the other was on the backend of the trail up the hill overlooking the river . Be alert.
Very nice trail . Try the Sweathouse (yellow) trail for a 2-3 mile loop from the western end back toward Rt. 1
Awesome set of trails . Disappointed to see two different people carrying plants out.
If you bring your dog, bring a bag and please take their poo with you!!
Go enjoy a trek out to the pool for a dip
If you don't bring a dog, pick up wayward turds anyway!
