Fell head over heels with their duck confit main course. Buttery soft duck leg . What made us go Wow! was the 'wok hei' & smokiness from the accompanying 'hor fun ' (rice noodles ). Will order again
The Beef Ribs was ok but I loved the mash????and in the pic you see the "green sticks n baby pink pieces", they are pickled veg..amazing foil to the entire dish! Wonder if we could get more on the side
They have interesting & a wide offering of cocktails . One for one all day long on Fridays. This made me smile: they hv 2 pricing –regular & 'gao' (extra shot)
Heavenly mash potato . Found under "Side Selections", 'pomme puree' is a luxurious mash , topped with a sous vide egg & brown butter . We will order this again
Braised purple cabbage is a chef 's recommendation. The sauce was the winner; prawn head butter w dashi beurre blanc sauce. Mouth-watering!
Love their crab and caviar pasta , so refreshing a taste. Honey garlic miso chicken breast was definitely a win but the duroc pork loin 's elements don't quite gel well .
Loved the hints of 'hei bee' (dried shrimps ) emanating from the Cream of Sea Urchin Pasta . Sauce has green chilli crumbs
The "chawanmushi " like The Egg , is Insta-worthy. The intricate potato chips was ???? but I would prefer the egg custard to have tasted as rich as chawanmushi !
Vegetarian options . Ask staff abt daily specials . They hv sun-dried tomatoes , roasted cauliflower , monkey head mushroom confit
Fish & Chips - used frozen fish and fresh water fish at that! But if u don't mind, then the batter was crisp and crunchy!
The Masses moved to Capitol in April 2024. The owner also transformed the vacant space at Beach Road into a Mod-Sin restaurant called Choon Hoy Parlor
The chicken collagen soup with clams - felt the milk over powered the soup , thus disguising the rich collagen taste... resulting in it tasting a tad like Campbells Soup .
Great ambiance, 12 hour braised beef cheek , foie gras , decent wine selection , great cocktails .
A value-for-money parking is across the road at Shaw Tower. $2.20 per entry after 5pm on weekdays, $2.14 per entry all day on weekends
The C & C - served cold. Seems to be the rave of The Masses. But I'm glad I shared!
The Chicken Breast is cooked in soups vide way. OMG so tender and moist!! ????????
The deep fried Camembert took a long time to prepare but the mix of the fried richness and the cold tangy yogurt ... seem to work! Small portion!
The sharing portion of foie gras , served on buttered toast ???? ORDER!!!!!
Surprising mix of flavours, has a wide variety. Order the "chawanmushi " hot.
It's opposite Shaw Tower/Shaw Leisure Gallery .
Am back after few years.. duck confit is good but the skin is slightly salty..
Food is yummy and staff is so polite!
New restaurant.. can give it a try.. hahah.. foiegras ~~
Friendly staff - Francis is amazing
Chicken breast , roast pork
Good:Crab&Caviar Pasta ,The Eggs . Taste ok for Striploin but it was overcooked though ordered medium well .
food is good but portion is rather small.
Good selection in very clean environment. Not as crowded as other food republic outlets if you want to sit and enjoy your food a bit. - John A
One of the very few Indian restaurants that serves good food. The veg meal is pretty good and value for the buck. - Sabharinath Bala
You cant go wrong with Fuwa-fuwa, baked curry rice, vanilla souffle, ice hoshino or ice fruit tea - Mag TY
I would give like 10 hearts if possible. One of THE best restaurants so far, the location, nestled in the lush garden, the food and its prettiness plated, the wine, perfection! - Merlina Kasman
Try the duck confit and chicken with basmati rice. The chocolate mousse with hazelnut sauce is tasty. Service extremely fast and friendly. Come early b4 6pm on weekends, they do not take reservations. - B L
the berry sizzle and pop sizzles in your mouth! Excellent service by friendly and patient staff staff. Show your student card for 10% discount! - J Ng
Love their foodcourts here. With great variety of foods and drinks. Reasonable price and share. - lolcorporation SG
