Good photographic history on streetcars of San Francisco. It's great for kids , teens, adults and seniors.
Great streetcar museum - worth a visit - photos, maps, models, and even Maya Angelou
Free admission . Pretty cool gift shop . While they have info about railways in general, their focus is the groovy vintage F-line railcars that run up Market and along The Embarcadero.
It's small - you'll be in and out in 20 minutes - but interesting, especially for transit nerds.
The staff will talk your ear off if you let them :-).
Great for kids . They have a train table. And they have a front of a train they can pretend to drive...
Less of a museum more a gift shop . Great tee shirts
Tiny, cute space. Stop in to see the old cars!
Take a F-Market streetcar to the Steuart Street stop by the Ferry Building and pick up a t-shirt with the old Muni logo.
It's mostly a gift shop , but there is enough history in there to keep you occupied for 10 minutes or so.
Un tout petit musée un peu planqué mais qui vaut vraiment le coup pr mieux comprendre SF et en savoir plus sur l'histoire des transports en commun de la ville
Fun little place not much to it but it had an beer exhibit and let you draw your own beer label. It was entertaining. Great gift shop inside if your in the area should stop in - Erik Cintron
Simple, free but also high quality museum with both a look at the active cable car operations and history of this unique form of transit. - Nathan Spady
Very interesting and a good way to learn about the history of Wells Fargo Bank - Bennett W Wong
Great selection of local produce. Make sure to get some olive oil and spices from Stone House! - Ina Li
Arugula flowers from Knoll Farms are a must-get! They are a gorgeous and perfectly spring-y salad topper. - melissa baldauf
enjoy the seriously good and high end food court - tasty Thai, tripe, sushi, seafood and much more. One of my favorite downtown lunch options - Shannon Clark
