Check out the upstairs bar . Downstairs has dj in the pub area (good, not too loud ). You might miss the up upstairs area . Quiet old timey bar with traditional classic paintings of old Scotland.

The pies are no match to the burgers but delicious nonetheless.

Your standard Taylor Walker chain pub . Cosy and efficient with a standard menu. Not cheap but it is handy for a quick drink and fast food

Great food available - better fare than most pubs on the Grassmarket. Order their special burger - topped with onion rings , bacon and lots of cheese .

Try the haggis ,neeps and tatties

Get yourself a pint of Hoegaarden in a frozen glass and head out the back on a warm summers evening. Amazing.

Today however, on a World Cup night the garden closes at 9... And they never bothered to change the signs...

The back patio is nice. Seek it out for a break from the hen and stag dos

Reasonable ale selection and beer garden , otherwise a crappy chain pub catering for tourists .

Sunny day? Come here and head back to the beer garden . A real hidden pearl ...

Great place for that mix of bar scene and dancing you're looking for.

Was starving and the Blue and Bacon burger hit the spot nicely! Would recomend the comfy armchairs at the window :)

Le fish and chips est spacieux et propre, le voisin de table etait un peu énervé par contre...
