I was pleased with the modern collection and the temporary exhibit. The building is seemingly modest but great transition and spaces throughout. Don't leave without checking out the sculpture garden .
Surprisingly comprehensive collection of both contemporary and historic works. Great sculpture collection. Located right off the Palm Springs strip, which makes walking to dinner afterwards a cinch.
Housed in a dramatic building, this is a nicely currated and diverse collection. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Palm Springs, especially Thursday after 4pm when admission is free!
The PS Art Museum is always a joy to wander through, even if I've been a dozen times already. They always have new and exciting exhibits , it's always worth your time to visit.
Great selection of contemporary and mid century artwork from the west coast. Eclectic and Interesting. The best museum I have visited in months. Thursday’s after 4pm are free!
Phenomenal museum ! One of the best displays of contemporary works I've seen. I enjoyed my visit there.
Every Thursday afternoon/evening (4:00-8:00 p.m.) admission to the museum is free [sponsored by the City of Palm Springs]. VillageFest takes place that evening as well ; parking can be challenging. Read more
"California Dreamin': Thirty Years of Collecting", an exhibition on display until the end of July, is a survey of art in California since the 1980s including paintings , sculptures , and photography .
Great show there at the moment (UNSETTLED) but overall this museum is overhung. Just too much of everything on display.
Small, but mighty permanent collection. Rotating/temporary exhibitions are always interesting and showcase a wide variety of art via a variety of media.
Special exhibits change from time to time. A Museum membership makes repeated visits easy and worthwhile.
Wonderful museum . We came for the Andy Warhol exhibit and it was fantastic!
Come on a Thursday night for free evening admission during VillageFest .
Fantastic compact collection of modern and western art .
Free on Thursday evenings. Really enjoyed the exhibits about local artists and history.
A bit small, but beautiful collection of art .
Modern Art on the 3rd floor is impressive for a museum this size.
Sly, witty contemporary collection . Worth the trip.
Don't forget about the 2nd & 3rd floors. My best part were those floors.
They have some american photo classics - Adams, Curtis, Mappletorpe and Strand
Really cool art on the top level. Watch for the old couple. Spooky!

This is a repurposed bank building. You can still see the vault and the teller Windows. - Yash Gupta
Everyone here is so nice & the art is SO much fun! Bought a coffee table book to get as much of the art as I could! I’m obsessed with the mid-century & love the unique flare of Shag’s take on the art! - Steff Lala
I brought my son here and he had a blast seeing and getting up close to the aircraft. Kids 5 and under are free to get in. We spent about 3 hours there because he didn't want to leave. - Leanne R
Super busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Stopped by to try their House Affogato — Two shots of espresso and a splash of Demerara syrup poured over vanilla ice cream and dusted with cinnamon ???? - Jasmine ????
Very much worth checking out! Lots of interesting food (try the tamales!), art, handmade crafts and not one, but two massage stations. - Christian
Best scallops I have had in my life. Left-overs of it even went well. Amazing food and ok service. Also had the tuna appetizer (ok), spinach dip was phenomenal, crab cakes are a must :) - Michelle Rose
