Cathy at Los Feliz store went far above and beyond for me on of my short visits to L.A. I am totally blown away by her customer service. Gelson's must treat their colleagues well .
In 1926, after outgrowing a small storefront on Kingswell, Walt Disney moved his animation studio to this location. Here Mickey Mouse came to life and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was produced.
At the deli , great banana bread pudding ! Very very dense. Warm it up with some vanilla ice cream !
Pricey , but it's the best option for finding stuff, like shampoo, and Trader Joe 's is lacking.

Fun fact: the original Walt Disney Studio was built on this location in 1925. This is the birthplace of Mickey Mouse . Find the plaque on Hyperion that commemorates this.
When they have it, the Spicy Cuban Black Bean Soup is to die for!
This salad bar is fresher and more diverse than most Wholefoods. Gelson's has the BEST grilled tofu . mmmm.

Trader Joe 's customers need to stop parking in the Gelson's parking lot .
They have a wine chiller. Very cool if you need some wine cold fast.

This places marks everything up about 50% over other grocery stores . Stay FAR away!
