Silver Lake Reservoir

At any given time the walking path is filled with joggers, strollers and dogs on leashes. With a crushed granite surface, the flat, 2-mile path has become an outdoor gym for residents.

Well populated and safe place to run. Great distance workout since a lap is 2.25 miles (thank you nike+ run). Beware the hipsters and their dogs!

People who come here need to walk in single file! Let People pass, ASSHOLES. Also, don't forget your hoop earrings and lipstick when you come running ????

There is street parking . There are is a dog park and a children’s playground with a beautiful field .

Nice 2+ mile soft surface path for running or walking. Beware of a short but steep hill on the north side!

Good 2 mile walk. Beautiful old homes in the neighborhood

This is a great place to take a walk or bring your kids for playtime. This is a truly unique location in LA.

Fun place to hang out. Catch some of the cool breeze in the "humans park " (separate from the dog park ).

The hills surrounding the resevoir, particularly on the SW end are amazing for interval trainers . Also beware that sprints on the path are difficult during peak hours. Avoid after work for interval

Try one of Micah Mckinley's complimentary workouts. I run here 6 days a week- didn't survive him for more than 30 minutes.

There's a great staircase that starts one door down from LA Mill Coffee . Approximately 400 stairs.

Try 30sec interval sprints along 1/2 mile stretch of West Silver Lake Blvd and burn an extra 150 calories!
