Silver Lake Meadow is a park Silver Lake Los Angeles located in United States.
Silver Lake Blvd (at Armstrong Ave) Los Angeles , CA 90039 United States
Shade is scarce so on a warm day grab a spot under the large Oak tree on the north side near Tesla Ave.
My best friend is handicapped. We haven't been able to find a parking lot to park in so that we can enjoy sitting in the meadow. Is there permit parking ? Please advise. Thanks!
The entrance signs mentions that it's a quiet place to relax . It's definitely relaxing, but since it's right next to a pretty busy road , it's not really quiet at all.
Pretty large green space in the middle of the city . Not a lot of shade though so bring cover or sunscreen ! Parking is not too bad either
Yoga meetup on Saturdays at 10:30. $5 suggested donation. Alternates between beginner and intermediate weekly.
Let's keep the meadow dog free. Remind people to walk on the path outside the meadow.
Comment in your check-in on how "quiet " of a place this lovely Meadow should be.
Run barefoot after your kites and balls, wild and free. Even do summersaults. All free from fear of dog poop.
Don't bring a 99.9-Cent-Store kite on windy days. Or any day, really.
Stop writing about what this place is not. On foursquare and Google searches, this place repeatedly comes up on lists of D0g P4rks.
Perfect for flying a kite and having a picnic .
Not a lot of shade in the meadow, but a great spot for getting a tan or flying a kite .
Great for early morning walks
The sign says: unorganized ball play + kites are a-ok.
Tons of dads with babies here. I'd say the average age is about 5 years old.
Street parking only. North end lot now off-limits — but why?
Saw some hot men playing ball out here. Bare feet and shirts optional.
the sign says no dogs allowed.
Grass, with a lake behind a fence. Lacie park is way better
Threw a baby shower here. It was awesome.
Could use a port-a-potty, go to the bathroom before coming here
