You can't go wrong with the food here. It is all excellent. For breakfast , the panino and the pancakes are my favorites. For lunch , I can't pass up the Tootsie's burger !

Great brunch , great location. Indoor/outdoor seating, friendly and efficient wait staff ! Order placed at the counter, self-served a cup of coffee and waited for the food to arrive and enjoyed!

Great little cafe with a lovely garden setting across from the Stanford campus. Try the Salata di Tono with lemon vinegrette - very light and tasty.

Pastries are the best in the peninsula by far. These guys know what they are doing and it shows. Friendly service and a very pretty location.

Th ePollone sandwich has an amazing endive slaw on it. The Tootsie burger is my all time favorite. The fries here are to die for. Rocco , the owner makes everything deeeelicious!

Soup was excellent. The chocolate pots are deliciously rich too.

Nice and charming, super busy on weekends and hard to find a table.

Carne alla Pugliese: a little dry. Paninis : delicious. Side salad always good, roasted potatoes only okay (not very crispy ).

The dark chocolate moka is amazingly rich, thanks in part to the Belgium chocolate used.

Don't forget about saturday brunch here. Excellent coffee and pastries . Small selection of entrees but they're all good.

The porchetta is extremely tasty. Portions aren't exactly generous though

Forget about the fancy-shmancy California Cafe . Go to Tootsies and get the fantabulous Tootsie burger ! The best burger around by far.
