Great hikes to be had here through forests into open meadows, the history behind it all just adds to the atmosphere.
If you lived here as a kid & went to school in the area, you most definitely went here & all the other historical sites around here.

Amazing historic house with great artifacts and fantastic tour guides. The tour takes an hour but is totally worth it with the information that gets presented by the guides. - James C
This is only a few blocks from downtown Fredericksburg and an easy walk. In fact, there are no time restrictions for parking in this neighborhood! So park here rather than downtown! - Jill H-W
