The Music Hall at Fair Park

Amazing place to see a show or concert . Great atmosphere, great food, and extremely comfortable , reclining chairs .

Very well appointed. Free parking & beautifully decorated during Christmas time . Great staff

Here for a show? Have lunch/dinner at the Crystal Terrace . Buffet style and located inside the music hall. Want a lighter option? Sandwiches available on the 2nd floor.

Really enjoyed the Broadway Christmas Winterland. Great place to see shows. Wasn't aware there was food service there - will make sure to try that out next time.

Get here early traffic will backup, Officers HAVE to close main gate to keep traffic flowing! Pay attention to them and you will get in much faster!! There is 3 entrances/ parking lots for music hall.

The guy that assisted me was very helpful and patient with helping me find the best tickets for my price range.

The sound can be a little off at times but this is one of the best theaters I've been to.

At the State Fair , the cheapest beer is inside the food pavilion at the chili booth . But if you're hungry, the best food by far is the original Fletcher's Corny Dog.

Excellent venue! Season ticket packs are the way to go.

Avoid the show during the fair unless you want to walk or pay double for parking . We had to walk from the other side of the fair grounds. DSM is unapologetic about it too.

Valet when it's pouring. Well worth the $15!

While they have tried to improve it, the acoustics here are still horrendous. Get a good upfront seat close to the middle or you won't be able to hear anything. It's a hangar, basically.

The play Bodyguard at the Music Hall was great

Be certain to check out the glass sculpture of the FSM just outside the lobby. Very progressive!

Easy to take the green line to Fair Park station. $1.75 each way to your stop instead of paying for parking , and avoid traffic!

Make sure to bring a coat. It's usually pretty cold!

The buffet was surprisingly good.

Her's a tip.... Turn your phone off, take off you hat and keep your mouth shut during the show.

Bring a wrap or jacket it's freezing inside this place!

Don't buy tickets to 2 out 3 plays...you can get a season with 6 plays for same price!!!
