There is nothing to dislike about "Fried Picnic on a Stick": spicy chicken , pickles , and tator tots fried and dipped in ranch, BBQ , or honey mustard sauce . It's enough for a meal at the fair !

Everything's bigger in Texas including the state fair . In addition to the delicious fried foods, rides, long lines , the obligatory Red River Rivalry game falls on a weekend during the fair .

Surprisingly delicious little snack , "Fried Mexican Fire Cracker" contains shredded chicken , cheese , and jalapeños in a fresh-made masa dough — nice flavor change-up from the food coated in fry batter.

Loved being back in Fair Park!!! Had an awesome time at the Texas State Fair ! Brought back a lot of childhood memories.

"Chicken Fried Cactus Bites" with jalapeño ranch dipping sauce or agave nectar sauce were spicier than most of us liked. Closest comparison is like eating spicy fried green beans .

I've grown up in Dallas and will always love Fair Park. Fun to visit in off season or during the fair . Love the architecture .

Three-cheese mac 'n' cheese is baked, battered, and fried, then placed on a beef party on a bun , served with waffle fries . From a foodie standpoint, it tastes like 3 foods from the grocery freezer.

Was at state fair for the very first time so much fun my son took me his first time food was good didn’t go on any rides too old for that very tired when I left

Fletcher's Corn Dogs and the Belgium waffles are the best!

Have to come back to Texas occasionally for the fletchers corny dogs and the auto show.

Love the Fair Park always leave with a empty wallet but a happy belly.
