Awesome place and lot of fun. Very relaxed staff and the little dock area is cute and themed well . Bring food, they let you use the grills for free!!
It was a nicer when it was still Jack's Boathouse, before the NPS took over, even though they lowered the prices by a dollar or two. Still good place to get a kayak and stroll down the Potomac .

One of my face places in DC! $12/hr, can paddle around teddy Roosevelt island and by Gtown harbor or just float along and chat with the girls! Great ambience at jack's.
It is underneath the highway. There is a big staircase heading down to the water, and if you go too far there is another one that is tiny and hidden.
Kayaking around 3-4 pm on a August day was perfect! It wasn't too hot and wasn't crowed!
Good place to go to and have fun on the waterfront
Good fun on a beautiful day but paid almost $30 for one hour of paddle boarding . Beware.
