This ramen was NO JOKE! Simple yet customizable to your liking. Everything was incredible. And don't be turned off by the price - no tipping means the couple extra bucks is going to fair pay! Win/win!
One of the best ramen I have eaten so far in New York. Flavor concentration personal booths , customizable ramen , no tipping policy is a total experience! Strongly recommend.
Show up late if you want to avoid the longest lines . Last call is at 10:30. And definitely try a Flavor Concentration Booth . The combination of spicy ramen with ice cold Asahi was phenomenal.
Tonkotsu Ramen : The noodles were exceedingly solid. They’re available in varying levels of thickness and doneness, and they’re deposited in a tonkotsu broth a little lighter and silkier than most. Read more
Can’t go wrong. This is the best ramen place ever. Pro tip: Try firm/extra firm noodles , they continue to cook as you eat the ramen . Don’t over do it with the spicy tare, you’ll miss out on the broth!
Inconvenient to get to, a little pricier than the comp (especially w/ toppings), but it's simply the best bowl of ramen outside of Japan. Hype seems to have dyed down, no wait for lunch on a weekend
Super simple menu. Perfect.
It was the most delicious in the Ramen noodles IThe concept is unique, but the ramen is more delicious than that! Because there are only NY in America, those who come to NY should eat it by all means
absurd base price for a bowl of ramen but it's basically the best I've had. Take someone who really likes ramen for a special occasion
Really delicious foods, great vegan ramen option as well . An experience you don’t want to miss. Great for solo, couples or (if there’s enough seating) group dining.
The ramen is really good, the broth is very flavorful but it’s pricey for being just noodles , broth, some scallion and a tiny sliver of pork . If you want an egg or any topping, it’s a 3$ add on.
You need a few trips to have "the" ramen , meaning everyone's is different. I prefer kicking up the spice level and richness a notch, plus firm noodles . Regardless, it's solid ramen .
This is as close the US is going to get to an authentic Ichiran experience. It is around $10 more expensive here than in Japan, but we take credit cards . It also tastes very close to the Japan chain.
Everything is just so perfect and thoughtful. My order: medium broth, scallions , whole garlic clove , standard chashu , medium richness, standard hiden no tare and half portion kae-dama ❤️
The taste was very rich, and liked the firm noodles too. But no eggs until January. They are perfecting their cooking!
Don't let the haters deter you: this taste of Japan is worth every penny. 1/2 Kaedama at medium-firmness is the perfect extension.
Dining alone here just feels right. Just like the ones in Japan (except there's a section for group tables, and it's at least 3x more expensive ).
Aside from the fact that it's double the price here, the ramen is pretty close to what you would get at Ichiran in Japan. Don't order the egg , as it's more like hard-boiled egg than nitamago.
This place is iconic. We waited for an hour to be seated, but it was worth it. There is just 1 type if ramen available and I would recommend making it spicy (5/10).
The ramen will change your life. Excellent service with the authentic booths . Make sure to add egg .
The broth here is amazing, one of the few where i said out loud "wow that's good" and drank every last drop. I don't normally do that at ramen joints.
Second best ramen in town after Ippudo by my standards. The place is huge, I think and hope they're looking to expand in other NYC location.
Go to that place not to only eat an amazing and deliiiiicuous ramen , but also for the authentic Japanese experience.
Mm, broth was very good and I enjoyed it for the most part, but the price isn't justified, imo. Also, the service wasnt the best. I'd skip this spot and find another ramen shop.
Perhaps my new favorite close by ramen experience. Get in there before the line starts.
Savory and completely customizable ramen - but at a high price. Overall very glad to have this in the neighborhood !
Wait time can vary, best times to go would be around noon on the weekdays
The ramen is delicious be the price is ridiculous. FYI a larger bowl of ramen in Japan would cost 4.00 these guys are running a grift on bushwick hipsters .
Awesome ramen experience. My favorite place so far. The attention to detail for every component is impressive.
$18.90 no tipping policy. Still kind of pricey in my opinion but when you're craving it and can't hop on a plane to Japan it's worth it????????
Great ramen , personal booths , very cool
Get the noodles firm and slurp quickly! Best tonkotsu in town .
Ramen , medium rich, medium spice , spot of garlic , pork and scallions ! Enjoy
Ordered on Caviar and the ramen was excellent. Spice levels are the real deal, medium was quite spicy .
Best ramen I've ever had. Better than ippudo .
Pricey for a bowl of ramen that is just okay. And if you're looking for the delicious ramen egg , be disappointed. The recommended egg is hard boiled AND cost $3 ????
Although it tastes better in Japan, Ichiran NY still has some damn good ramen . Pricey though.
A little pricy for ramen , but it's quite close to their shops in Japan. Plenty of table space and solo areas to eat.
Everything is customizable and aside from the main ramen price, add-ons are relatively cheap
Decent ramen . I find Ippudo and Rai Rai Ken to be just as good without the 18 dollar sticker shock. ICHIRAN has beat noodles . You can get good, if not better ramen in Japan for 6 dollars. Go visit!
Japanese ramen the way it should be. Expensive but worth it for the authenticity .
They’re a solid spot but more for the experience than the ramen itself. The ramen isn’t bad. But go for the experience.
Brand name, that’s what’s famous for this place, pricey for noodles without much topping
Tonkatsu egg (tea egg marinated in tonkatsu broth) is a must!
Same great concept as in Japan except no machine ordering. Delicious, custom made ramen .
The best ramen in NY. I've tried Zundo-ya and Ippudo before.
The price keeps me from turning this into a daily staple. Tasty, but I hope the owners realize how their price is affecting their ratings.
Their ramen blows every other tonkotsu ramen in NYC out of the water. The hype is real. Pricey , though.
This place is like the Internet. You program your ramen , submit the form, the food loads up and you can't see the faces of the OP.
Best ramen in nyc. Which puts it in the running for best noods worldwide. ????
My new favorite ramen joint! Both the YaoYao and the Roasted Salmon ramen are out-of-this-world good. P.S. The tacos are made of wonton shells! - Peter Wu
as an alternative to tonkatsu, their dark meat chicken chashu is quite tasty - hugo liu
Good vegan ramen is always a treat, but their vegan tantanmen knocked it out of the park. So good! - Jessey White-Cinis
Great atmosphere. Great pizza! Also has a huge backyard with lots of picnic tables. - Melissa Lonsdale
Utterly fantastic selection of beers (try the IPAs) and a great atmosphere. - Nick Johnson
The best specialty coffee in NY I’ve been to. Not many light roast profile places in this part of the world. Their cold brew is excellent. - Oliver Nippletwist
