Don't miss the publisher overruns and the clearance section, both near the back of the store. They're some of the best bets for great deals.
Head here post-Christmas in January to stock up on super cheap ornaments ($3 or less for Hallmark ornaments) and cards for the next Christmas season .
If you spend time sifting through the randomness that is the comics books section you may find some good issues - I did!
