Rideau centre is the Ottawa's downtown indoor shopping center, overlooking the National Arts Centre. All part of the Rideau canal area.
The centre keeps getting better and better every time I come! Has a good mix of high and low end stores, especially with Nordstrom!
Has some great stores, but in no way different or unique from any other mall . Hopefully the renovations will help make it stand out far more in the future...
Huge and clean mall with multiple department store
The new dining hall aka food court is spectacular, esp compared to the old one. Excellent food options too!
The restrooms are so clean .food court is very nice,it is a nice mall .
Where you can find anything in this city . Must visit or die. Lol
The food court is amazing. It doesn't look like a food court ... very fancy !
Upstairs on the outdoor rooftop patio you can find great spots to relax and have a coffee in quiet .
Very big . Great guest services including coats check
Washrooms on every level (check the maps) and there is a family washroom by customer service on the third floor.
Nice and clean . Went on a Monday morning, it was peacefully quiet :-)
THEY HAVE A HOT TOPIC AND IT IS SO COOL! IT'S REALLY REALLY BIG COMPARED TO DIEPPE AND I JUST REALLY REALLY EXCITED
I don't know about the comment that read great food court but it is not exactly healthy friendly for all concessions considering A&W and KFC are anong them...
Thoughts and prayers going out to the family friends and colleagues of the security guard who passed in today's shooting incident
Currently undergoing a major renovation, to be completed sometime in 2016. The mall remains open, but be prepared for a bit of chaos and disarray.
One of the best places to take a present to home if you are on vacation
Park at the top if the parking garage . Great view and easy access to 2nd Floor.
A pretty solid mall . Great for people watching .
Awesome selection of stores.
I only go to this mall when I absolutely have to! Way too crowded and just a generally un-fun vibe. I'd recommend St. Laurent over Rideau any day.
If you want to get anything from the OC Transpo station go early in the morning, avoid it at lunch and the first week of every month. It's chaos, you can buy everything except photo id's elsewhere.
Just about store is moving around. Don't trust the mall maps until they update them.
Four floors of everything you can think of
Here is an idea. Slow moving (stationary, non-moving) traffic on the escalators stay left. Others with legs, go right. The escalator is not a ride at the fair . That is all I have to say.
They're open most stat holidays , usually on a reduced schedule.
If you bike here, make sure you lock it up with a good lock. Bikes get stolen often.
Great place to shop
The Exchange restaurant is now closed (permanently).
Slowest elevators to and from the parking garage , be prepared to wait
Best mall in Ottawa - has a decent collection of stores.
Nice place to shop in Ottawa!!
great mall great stores
Lots of variety in this mall .
always open on holidays - love it
Standard shopping center.
get some good shoes
For lunch , there is only Thai Express. Anything else would be uncivilized.
Half of the escalators will be out of service, guaranteed.
Price isn't bad for downtown parking even during the day
This is a big mall and I like to shop here!
Great place to meet up
Couldn't find a photobooth . Every mall needs one
There are bunnies on the roof! No lie.
Need a permit to film inside the mall !
This mall is open on stat holidays too! Read more
I just witnessed kids getting ripped off by street kid that grabbed their Unicorn Halloween mask and ran out the door with it. This food court is dangerous and not patrolled by security. BE CAREFUL!
Don't go down there alone, or while ill.
Too many mall rats visit this place. Avoid.
Aquí de todo eso que hay en todos lados. Jajajajaja
Very busy location but very good service.Been here several times & each time got the answers I needed & the products & services I wanted. Def recommend using the apple store app to pay for purchases - Love2Travel
Coming in early in the morning always pays off, especially if you just want to blitz through your daily exercises - Sarp Diker
Fast service. Except after 5pm. Service really slows down. - Jeremy Slessor
Big shopping center in the east end, with both a Sears and The Bay, Lush, and the Rainbow Cinemas. It pretty much had anything one needs in a mall - Sabrina S.
Great mall with lots of store choices. Absolutely love the Dreamweaver store! Food court is nice and big, with lots of choices, but some staff at certain places aren't very friendly. - Amanda Shaw
Aux Delices bakery has the best gingerbread you can find! It's so soft and they decorate it using shapes and icing. - Nakita Gomes
For booklovers. A small choice in the french section, but nobody is perfect. The staff is very nice. - Mélanie Duval
Try Made in Japan: A Teriyaki Experience... Always a great choice! - Lindsay M.
