In May of 2004, The Delancey opened its doors to a warm welcome from the lower east side. The three level club is home to a downstairs music venue, main level bar, and the only all weather rooftop garden of its kind peering out onto the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge.

While it could do with a tad more lighting, the rooftop is lovely. Staff is friendly and attentive, and drinks are reasonably priced. Rooftop is covered and heated.
Cool setup with 3 different floors and vibes. Weird odor on the top floor is what scheved me from the get go. Bar tenders up there did not practice good service . Not cool for drinks at NYC premiums.
This use to be our favorite location to go to on Fridays after work. The last floor has an open roof (on nice days) but you can't hear the music from there.
Famous for its foliage-filled rooftop bar where you can steal away for a private moment of conversation while overlooking the streets at the heart of NYC's Lower East Side.
Expensive but interesting crowd and good music on the ground floor. Upstairs space is also great for socializing.
You'll find Run Around Sue and Scooter Pie doing "Shaken and Stirred " every Wednesday at this dance party meets burlesque event . Shots and beer chugging are encouraged.
With three levels of good music and different vibes on each, what's not to love?
The music was current and popular, the crowd was fun and the people were attractive . Good place to hang out. I like the patio
Happy hour is 5pm to 7 pm, Sunday through Thursday, when drinks and food are $2 off.
Absolutely brilliant. Three floors. Three different scenes. Great fort a first date, bachelor party or picking up a new fling.
Unpretentious night club with good live music in the basement .
Cool rooftop with lots of plants. A little cramped though, so probably best for a quieter day of the week
The rooftop is a nice space to host an event
3 floor club: 1 is dance floor , level 2 is lounge , level 3 is rooftop garden
Love that rooftop bar in any weather! Lots of room to dance and chill on the main floor.
As everyone recommends, definitely check out the rooftop . Lots of comfy seating !
Greeeeat rooftop . Really friendly staff too. Most basic (in the worst sense of the bud light word) beer selection , regrettably. It's like an InBev showroom. There is more to life than Stella Artois.
Great for birthday parties with places to chill and places to dance to non-electronica music . Great scene and no cover
You should definitely try to make a reservation for a table because this place gets packed and fast!
Great Sunday day parties. Current Hip hop and reggae !! The rooftop is so nice. I love this party.
Try to get on the rooftop . It's often "private" parties. Perhaps try to overheard one of the names used to get in. Left line is the ground floor. Right line is for the rooftop .
Good music ! Must!
This Bar & Rock Club that offers an amazing rooftop space with beautiful views of the Williamsburg Bridge .
Lounge upstairs and 2 more floors of dancing , music , and bars . Nice but it's thin and can get cramped.
I love the rooftop bar and the Shaken and Stirred Burlesque is free!!!
The bartenders won't take amex and also demand to hold onto your ID even if you're not opening a tab which is annoying. The rooftop area is nice though.
I really want to hate this place, but the music alone is redeeming. Cozy up on da roof with a cute someone too!
Paul Wallfisch has spent more than a year championing some of the best of what NYC has to offer in the way of very personal, intimate music performances . The show is called "Small Beast." Every Monday
Heated rooftop type upstairs in the winter
Great spot for live music .
Great rooftop bar , though it gets packed pretty quickly.
Home of some of the best underground dance music in the city . Just watch the calendar.
the rooftop area is way better than the downstairs bar area
Every Wednesday night!! Burlesque with Shaken and Stirred , Awesome Show!! No Cover, great performers . :-)
Great music to dance to
Cool place. Amazing roof bar ! Go for a Burlesque show ;)
Crowded spot. Rooftop will not help you cool down.
A decent spot to see a band, but beware the $30 minimum on cards!
You can reserve tables for free here. Great place for birthday parties.
Behind couch 2nd from stage is an outlet which you might find to plug in your phone to charge... If you have a charger
Be sure to tip your coat girl. They work hard on those stairs!
dancehall & reggae nights every thursday, Thotmir approved ????
If you are in a frat, have ever been in a frat, or like being in Times Square, then this is the bar for you. Absolute. Nightmare.
Every Wednesday night, Burlesque by Shaken-N-Stirred. Always a great show!
Ehhhh dive bar with young college students . Don't confuse this place w/the DL
The downstairs bar features lots of men dancing alone.
Was awesome! Jamaican Reggae and Ska all night !
This…is the Times Square of locals.
When I arrived at 1 am there was a stabbing! But the music was pretty awesome :)
