Really good roof top to come to and hang out with a small crew or an amazing date. Not too fancy or too romantic but the green space really brings this place to life not to mention the great drinks.
Came here on a friday evening for my bday happy hour :) everyone in my group was blown away by the beautiful garden ambiance. Def recommended for a date or a low key celebration w/ friends.
Gallow Green has got hip NYC rooftop style going on with lush greenery that give the place an airy feel. Get yourself a colorful cocktail and sip on it as you take in the beauty of the surrounding
Hands down the best brunch I've had in NYC. Live jazz , unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys , and food to die for. Make sure you get the bread pudding with the bourbon caramel sauce .
Fun summer rooftop on top of the Heath which has great jazz music . Lines can be long so get there early

Nice rooftop with plenty of green around
August 12th: Relax on Gallow Green’s cozy porch swing and sip a Pimm’s Punch (Pimm’s No. 1 with crushed ginger , cucumber , mint and lime ) in the charming rooftop garden . Read more
Had an amazing time on a Saturday night. They had a live band (can't recall the name) which played a good mix of trippy + punk. The random animal statues all around only added to the unique experience
Charming roof-top garden bar to have drinks and chat at sunset - though there's no clear vision of either the river or the sunset . The bar is free seating, but mind making reservations for dinner .
Gorgeous interior and exterior space for drinks. Feels like a cozy cabin during the winter time. Food and drinks are delicious, though pricey with a long wait . Come for the view and novelty.
I've never seen a more beautiful rooftop bar in my life! It definitely feels like you are drinking right in the middle of a garden . Drinks are pricey but the scenery is worth it.
One of the best rooftops in the city . Walking into an enchanted garden , with so much greenery everywhere. Communal tables are good for groups . Great cocktail selection . Pizza is quite tasty.
The punches add a further element of theatricality: poured into tureens tableside, some warm with Scotch , some indulgent with a whole bottle of Champagne—& some with jumping flames of absinthe alit.
One of the best hidden treasures in NYC. A romantic secret garden on top of the McKittrick hotel
The rooftop at the McKittrick Hotel feels like a scene out of Alice in Wonderland or a setting fit for an English tea party. Order one of their delicious punches if you're with a large group.
A quaint little garden in the sky. This place is lovely with a romantic vintage flair. Cocktails are a little pricey but fantastic. As a southern gal, I like the juleps.
A trendy rooftop bar located at the top of the McKittrick Hotel . Enjoy a robust cocktail menu and be sure to check out the winter-themed cabin activated in the winter months.
Atmosphere is worth the price. You smell the vegetation as you step off the elevator . Atmospheric attention to detail. Food is good enough. Service is acceptable. Period music sets tone. Sunset . A+
Fairy lights and tattered flags hang between verdant trellises. The best seats in the house are inside an artfully ruined antique railcar, whose empty windows are hung with destroyed lace curtains.
Twinkly lights and lots of plants make for a great atmosphere. Lots of fun beers to try & pizza is also ????????
Amidst the old train rails and ‘30s train station styling, Gallow Green at the McKittrick Hotel oozes style while slinging incredibly potent cocktails . Read more
Loved the frosè, cannot say I was that impressed with the food. Lovely rooftop but still I think a bit overrated, many more places in NY with a better view .
A rooftop bar designed by the geniuses behind Sleep No More that looks like a cross between a Savannah garden and a Tim Burton movie set? Don’t mind if we do. Read more
Lovely rooftop , really beautiful place, the view is great, the food is good, our waitress was super weird ! You should go to the No Sleep No more show after that !
In summer - a beautiful English garden . In winter - a snowy ski lodge . All year round - a hidden and surreal spot to grab a drink.
The prices aren't cheap but the ambiance is phenomenal and worth it (for at least one drink). If its warm out, order the popsicle punch . Its oh so good and the popsicle is house-made.

beautiful place to have some drinks in the summer or for a date night ! the cocktails don't quite live up to the price ($17), but I guess you're paying for the view/beautiful surroundings!
Fantastic outdoor lounge with lots of seating. The KCBC ale on tap was really good
You need a reservation mostly. Although the staff make exceptions if you or at least three of your friends are wearing a snuggie. So bring one for sure! Or wear one always.
Nice rooftop , stopped by after Sleep No More play. It has a great atmosphere, nice cocktails and tasty food.
So you've made a reservation and you're here for brunch . Do NOT pass over the black pepper honey that goes on the friends chicken . In fact, you should maybe put it on a biscuit too.
One of the best rooftops of Manhattan, really nice view and ambient, sometimes too full and noisy , but still good. Enjoy the cocktails !!
The drinks are beautiful and very strong. The mckittrick mule is great, and watch out for the Popsicle punch ! It has a serious kick
Definitely one of the most charming rooftop bars on the West side. Come early and enjoy the views before the crowd piles in.
Less about the view and more about the garden-like ambiance, this is the ideal place for enjoying the afternoon breeze over a gin punch bowl. Read more
The Gallow Green’s lush terrace is so quaint and romantic that it’ll almost make you forgive them about the food.
If you make a reservation , you'll have no issues. Everyone was nice, we had the choice of a table or the bar where we were able to sit and eat. sunset was a perfect backdrop. Enjoy the mystery of it
"entertainers" walk around to engage the patrons. I was chosen to go downstairs to experience the play w/ a private tour . Almost peed in my pants it was so scary!! Really the best rooftop in NYC.
Beautiful rooftop bar . If you're looking to escape the city for a few hours with a glass of wine this is your place.
It is a cabin on he top of a rooftop . Very romantic , fun decorations and just an experience. Do brunch and after brunch cocktails here.
Delicious pizza's and small plates on a gorgeous rooftop with excellent service
Gallow Green at the McKittrick is the perfect excuse for a "transportational" date night experience (regardless of whether you've seen Sleep No More yet – which you should.)
Drinks, food and service were delightful. Loved the real herb gardens and vines as well as tiny Edison lights . Romantic , fun, enchanting,
What a great place just to chill . Drinks, music and ambiance and the view were all great. Will definitely visit again
