This is the largest lake in NYC at 93 acres! It's also home to the annual Dragon Boat Festival every August when you can watch boats decorated as dragons race & eat an amazing array of East Asian food
Please do not leave your trash in the park after BBQ . The park suffers from hundreds of discarded beer caps and other rubbish. P.S. I thought consuming alcohol was illegal in the NYC parks ?
Great rowing facility. Queens location for RowNY. Nice location for a walk, bike ride , run, or picnic .

Look for turtles , flying fish , sparrows and the occasional hawk!
Not good for roller skating . Trails are flooded even when it hasny rained in several days.
