The Cheese Crisp Especial is AMAZING!! Not on the menu . Sad to see so many bad tips. It's a small, locals only type of place, but always great people watching and the food is really tasty!!

Great food and margaritas . Such a neat hideaway.

The Cole slaw was fresh and had no mayonaise . Vinegar dressing . Delicious. Whoops, maybe we were supposed to put that on the fish taco .

If you are looking for live music , Hernandez is NOT the place. They have an awful reputation among the music community in San Diego . They treat musicians like dirt.

The regular magarita if 1/2 price would be reasonable.

Great food.

Went in on a Thursday evening, Rude haggard old woman with a raspy voice tending bar , treated us like we were an inconvenience. Food was horrible.

No bueno on the $5.00 coupon. They even called the owners of Hernandez hideaway an they are too cheap to honor their special.

Couldn't flag down a waitress to give our order to so we left after a half hour of watching them wait on everyone else.
