Nice day hike . Lake is much bigger than expected. A 30 pound blue catfish was caught here recently. Boat rentals are available and it is supposed to be a great place to sail . It was pretty breezy .
Great place for a day hike close by. Bring water .
Bring water for the hike around. Fairly easy trail with only a moderate amount of loose rocks.
Since the drought ended and the water levels returned to normal the lake is a cool place to visit.
