I think that Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park provides a great opportunity for biking and walking to work if you work in Downtown Portland, because Naito Parkway doesn't have a bike lane.
One of my favorite spots to catch the cherry blossoms every spring or just enjoy the sunshine.
Just did the shamrock run starting here. Always seems a well run and is great fun. Whoever manages this area is doing a great job
A great place to go for a bike ride or walk on a sunny day. Just be aware of your surroundings as certain areas can be unsafe.

Big park with lots to do: playground, trail, off-leash area, pond - great place. - Paul Lewandowski
I'm not sure what makes this a park but I do love this block. Good fountain for cooling off in the summer and comes with its own Elephants for easy plaza snacks and drinks. - H. Colbert (@hrsch)
Hippie vibe aside, you can pick up lovely hand-thrown pottery, jewelry, and art photography. There’s a woman who makes some of the best jam I’ve ever tasted – that one’s definitely not to be missed. - Design*Sponge
Great value for money (esp compared to NYC doughnut plan). Highly recommend the Portland cream one - Colin Lee
