East Rock Park

Beautiful park with trails , rivers , and open spaces to relax. Doesn't even feel like you're in New Haven anymore.

A nice 2-4 mile hike depending which way you go. Take the stairs though, it’s much more fun and challenging than taking the road !

Great views of New Haven and the Long Island Sound from the summit. You can hike or drive to the top.

Go to the top of the park in the evening and watch a sunset there. There's seating for small picnics too.

Always come ready :) wish I had my soccer shoes :(
