Lovely staff all over. Expensive food @Black Rock . Cliff dive bar has AMAZING chili cheese wedges & smoothies . Beach out the front is gorgeous but $45 to hire a cabana lounge :-/ steeep!

A room in the Moana section have great views and are much quieter in the evening. Long walk and 3 elevator rides to get to them though.

Buy groceries and stock up then have yourself a BBQ along the small beaches on the highways! They provide public grills and tables!! Beautiful way to catch sunset and beach time!!

This is a beautiful place to stay! There are so many great things about this place it is hard to just pick a few.

We enjoyed our stay. Amazing beach . Staff is helpful. We read the resort was tired but didn't walk away with the same feeling.

Ask for a room in building 2 (Lahaina Hale). Rooms are larger than the other buildings and still have an ocean view . Also, close to the Parking Structure and Valet.

No to the breakfast buffet . Valet free for all plats, although the parking structure is conveniently close. Buildings 4 & 6 have amazing views of the ocean/black rock.

A great location. Black Rock Terrace has great food. Cliff Dive Bar should be kept a bar (food was meh.) You'll save money buying DVD's rather than renting in-room movies . Read more

Take a 10 minute walk to Whaler 's Village for some great restaurants and to stock up on sunscreen , snacks , and alcohol at the ABC Store.

Better views high up, but closer to pool and beach on ground level. Obvious but important decision.

Take the path along the beach to Whalers Village for great shopping and eating!!! It's only a 8 minute scenic walk!!

Great spg customer service! Having a fabulous 8 nt stay. Tip.. If spg platinum definitely upgrade to full buffet !

Great location for a night dive at black rock . Enter on north side and follow the shore, look for octopus , eels and turtles . Lots more if you know where to look.

Wifi is $13/day! There are a few computers near black rock 2 use though. Keep an eye out for the crazy frogs around the ponds @night!

Happy hour 3-5 at The Cliff Dive Bar . $8 specialty drinks . No complaints! Awesome resort .

Do you bathe in money? Then you are probably staying here. Enjoy the beach goers tromping by your front door endlessly!

Pool staff is amazing! They bring around treats throughout the day!

Great place but everything closes at 10-11!! Eat early and stock up on your drinks because it becomes a ghost town around 10:30pm

You need to check out with the same number of towel cards they issued to you at check-in to avoid a towel fee

Get pool/beach towels at the bell stand. You don't need your towel cards and they're open 24/7.

Food and drinks are very expensive , but the wailer is within walking distance an has many great food choices. Black Rock Seafood and Grill was very disappointing.

Loved every minute of our stay. Because of its location, this would me my first choice any time I visit Maui.

Ask to be put in a section close to the pool or main lobby. Otherwise u will have a trip just getting to the pool

whale watching is incredible right from your room. building 6 id way far away and takes two elevators to get to the pool.

Valet park even if you don't stay and get spoiled at black rock

Purchase cheap beach toys from the stores near by. Rental is unnecessarily over-priced

Breakfast buffet is awesome. Fresh Maui Pineapple . Yum~

As much as I love this facility.which is absolutely gorgeous! The customer service here Is really bad. The front desk doesn't know what they are doing and doesn't care about your needs. Not very frien

Carpet is DISGUSTING. Entire place is in desperate need of updating. Not up to Sheraton standards!

Don't plan to arrive early, even Starwood gold level aren't given access to their room before the 3pm check in 
