The best wine shop in the city . Several wines available by the glass along with great coffee and food. Take away wine until 11pm 7 days. Staff is very knowledgeable . Aussie and imports available.
Best terrine ! Amazing panzanella salad ! Great service and amazing wines . Unmissable in Melbourne.
Keep an eye open for the special fish stew ... It's one of the best I've ever had and so much choice of wine to go with it.
Huge and well rounded wine selection , and the desserts are amazing ????
I'd never patron this place or Super Club again after recently ordering wine . Reneged on quoted price and upset loyal customers over $13.50! Well done Gabrielle rewriting the invoice was so clever!!
Great casual (but not too casual ) place for a drink and a bite. Try the polenta chips - they're the best!
Food is amazing, so is wine and cheese . The wait staff are aloof at best. You have to constantly flag down someone down to take your order
My favourite spot in Melbourne for a wine and a people watch .
Sample wines from around the world, France, Spain, Italy and of course home grown from the Yarra Valley and Mornington region.
The jerked chicken wings were a definite winner. A must have. Dig in with your fingers and enjoy.
Best consistently good coffee in Melbourne, or at least within walking distance. Say Hi to Sam, he's the manager and he's great.
Excellent spot for breakfast meetings in the summer. Coffee is always fantastic.
Amazing pastas and wine
Charming wine bar with a great atmosphere. Ask the staff for wine suggestions and food pairings.
Polenta chips are great. And good wine list .
Sit and enjoy the view of one of Melbourne's lovliest spots, oh and enjoy a good drop or two! Read more
Best chicken schnitzel in town .
Try the tuna niscoise, very clever interpretation , as well as the whitebait and you can't go past the lemon tart . Great wines .
A perfect place for having dinner if you are travelling and need to eat alone. Sit at the bar and ask them to choose the wine for you.
Many many bottles well labelled. Oysters n sardines easily run out...order first!!!
The gnocchi is amazing!
Have some blue cheese and an eccles cake .. sublime.
Chicken schnitzel with Italian coleslaw
Just schnit yourself, you won't regret it.
Foie gras and rosee
Nice place for desserts and coffee/wine.
Still good. Just in case you needed to know. All the good feedback is still valid!
Pork Belly with lentils and apple salad . You might as well nail my feet to the floor there, I cannot leave. I want more.
$16 bucks for a glass of wine . Cheapest, $9.50. But a great place - very Melbourne
Service outside is consistently bad these days, as in wave at the staff if you want service.
Amazing pastas
Go for the parmigiana - great interpretation with fresh buffalo moz and basil . yum
You have to try the schnitzel !!!
Polenta chips rock!
The pork belly and lentils owns my life.
Not just wine .
Great spot for lunch . And lovely wines Read more
try the amaretti!
Schnitzel - oh yes indeedy!
Good Coffee
Make sure you petition City Wine Shop to sack the rude waiter .
apparently also sell food... no really
You can do dishes in halves so you can try everything. Bread is amazing. - Craig Broadbent
Great location. Outdoor tables and chairs, great way to chill and people watch when the weather is nice - Jessie Lee
The wine selection is fantastic. Cozy intimate atmosphere. Sophisticated decor. Perfect for casual dining with grazing plates up to full course meals. - Tm Bo
I like the whole venue the staff was super friendly & were lovely at assisting us. The only negative thing I can say was there was not enough leg room as my knees were touching the chair in front! - Warren François
Gets a bit boisterous at times with a slightly douchey after work crowd but service is well drilled and it's a great spot for a whisky and a cigar on a summer's eve. - Alexander Lobov
The Eggs Benedict is a real winner. Delicious hollandaise - ask for it on the side and they'll give you a whole bowl full. - Sys E
