The Pie Shakes , holy cow, check the menu board for pies available, instantly made into a ginormous shake . I had "chocolate bourbon pecan " - simply amazing! The best shake I've ever had! Try one!

The best breakfast joint in Iowa City! We eat here every time we're in town . The biscuits and gravy are amazing, and the non-greasy home fries are cooked to perfection!

I've always loved Hamburg ! I'm an Iowa City native and though it can be a long wait (especially on Sundays) it's totally worth it!

Excellent breakfast spot ! Don't be fooled by it's simplistic interior, Hamburg Inn draws nationally known politicians scrambled with the Iowa academia crowd. Fine dining in the Heartland.

Classic diner . Found the burgers to be a little dry but overall not that bad. This place has a lot of character and when I came there were a lot of women here. The staff was friendly . Pie was good.

The service is subpar at best the establishment lacked cleanliness and it took them a hour to get two burgers with fries that it was nothing to right home about. In conclusion I won't be returning
