Kinda hard to get excited about it here when it's channelized with buildings and tour buses all around it.
I've lived near it all my life, so I haven't known different. I have taken it for granted. My out of state sister-in-law shared her perspective, giving me a new one. It's called "Mighty" for a reason!
If your by the landing check out all the great bar / restaurants ! Also check out the Arch, where else can you ride up in a tight space with strangers
You simply can’t ask more from a river ! LOL
I like to take short drives down here. good to get a little break from Illinois.
Nice place..
Great scenic views , the mighty Mississippi!
There is a lot of water in this river .
View the mighty Mississippi from the Eads Bridge .
Try the sea salt . Vanilla ocean cream
It is very wet and wide....
Cold but a great trip! Enjoyed it

Always nice
Designate a driver to drive and everyone else rubberneck at the gateway to the west
Learn to be a Riverboat captain then go on to write America's greatest novel .
Take a swim . The water feels nice
Just a 'lil chilly. Put on the winter attire, before taking a dip .
It's very wet
Don't try swimming here.... Water not very clear
don't drink the water, fish pee in it.
Totally NOT Crystal City . Lol
Westbound is one lane only, and it is dumb. Eastbound, if you need to get to E. St. Louis, stay in the left lane. - Scott Way
I highly recommend going to the top. On weekends plan to be in line for hours. We went during the week in August with no lines and saw the sunset. BEAUTIFUL! The museum is interesting as well. - Robin Marolt
The bacon covered hot dogs ARE amazing! Come with beans and pickles! - Madison Hayes
