Mississippi River

Kinda hard to get excited about it here when it's channelized with buildings and tour buses all around it.

I've lived near it all my life, so I haven't known different. I have taken it for granted. My out of state sister-in-law shared her perspective, giving me a new one. It's called "Mighty" for a reason!

If your by the landing check out all the great bar / restaurants ! Also check out the Arch, where else can you ride up in a tight space with strangers

You simply can’t ask more from a river ! LOL

I like to take short drives down here. good to get a little break from Illinois.
