I don't like bananas . And I don't like bread puddings but I love Magnolia's banana bread pudding with a passion. I LOVE EVERYTHING Magnolia! Cheesecake & cupcakes are incredible. Lines here are insane
Cakes , cupcakes , muffins ... Everything is flavoured. My favorite: red velvet !
Loved that it was in the grand central terminal. Didn't have a chance to try the famous banana pudding but their cream cheese brownie was very good.
I always go for the flourless chocolate cake ($3.50 a piece) and the red velvet cupcakes . This place is found at the lower level of Grand Central station. Try to drop by while waiting for your MetroNo
Signature banana pudding has changed the concept of pudding for me, soooo good. The pecan cheesecake was also delicious but I'd prefer the pudding .
Summer 2017 banana pudding : June-Rainbow confetti, July-Magic Bar vanilla+toasted coconut+graham+chocolate chips , Aug-S'mores chocolate+graham+marshmallow fluff, Sept-salted-caramel dulce de leche
Get the Grand Central Cupcake ... then go upstairs, look at the ceiling, and see where their inspiration for the topping comes from :)
This worths for many! Skip the whole thing and go for banana pudding and red velvet .. If you're waiting for a long line make sure they still have the pudding in there!
incredible banana pudding !But overall anything you can get is super tasty, caramel pecan cheesecake is my second favorite!
Red velvet cheesecake is ok. I left my comment for the pudding several years ago. And the rudeness also didnt change. Go girls!
Delicious goods. Staff is too slow for my liking. Efficiency is definitely an issue here. They also messed up my cake order. I was VERY dissatisfied with that.
Historical and sex in the city trendy , come by for an airy like dough cupcake . Red velvet is to die for.
Lots of flavors, great presentation. Price starts at $3 and up. They even had peanut butter and chocolate flavored cake .
On the lower level at Grand Central Station, go here instead and skip the lines at the famous West Village location. Watch as the expert bakers ice the many flavors of cupcakes right before your eyes.
Everyone comes for the cupcakes and they are good, but the real star is the banana pudding
Place you must stop by when you are at the grand central station. Good stuff. Ridiculously awesome cupcakes and Banana pudding .
Try the only at Grand Central marble cupcake , with a beautiful edible chocolate disc on top and marble cake on the bottom. A very classy cupcake .
Stick to the banana pudding . Altho disappointing how it’s sometimes served not as cold as you’d expect. Skip the cake - esp the red velvet , Sprinkles is waaay better. Even the choc is underwhelming
Deliciously rich treats from this awesome bakery under Grand Central. Always worth a visit.
Can anyone say Red Velvet cupcakes ???? Oh My God.... (Christopher loves them) When Al and I are in the city it's a definite stop. -Caroline Manzo, Real Housewives of NJ
Banana pudding is a legit institution. Cupcakes are great as well
The bakery that began the cupcake craze is still the best. We suspect it’s the lick-your-fingers-to-get-the-last-bit-of-butter-cream frostings and fillings. They do a mean banana pudding too.
Banana pudding is all you need. And a few friends to help you finish it.
Banana Pudding , obviously. The cake (chocolate !!!!!) slices are also great!
Delicious cakes , cupcakes and famous banana puding !
Maybe I came here with too much expectation. I ordered the iconic red velvet cake , and was absolutely without flavor. The espresso was bad. There are better places in ny. I'm definitely not coming back
Their red velvet cupcakes are delicious, but I am in love with their cheesecakes even more! (And I used to work there, I should know!)
Zarkana Cupcake is surprisingly good. The Red Velvet is not that great (Crumbs and Bake My Cake do it better), but still a really good variety
Magnolia's banana pudding is the only banana flavored thing I eat. Try them!
The banana pudding has a very Americanish taste. More educated palates will find it just acceptable.
Cool cupcakes and trendy location
You're told to get the banana pudding , so get the banana pudding . Yum!
Red velvet cupcakes are everything! Try the vanilla bean cheesecake !
The Red Velvet Whoopie cake is the truth!!!!
I find the cupcakes to be the least exciting thing here. Try the icebox cakes .
November Saturday favorite pumpkin cupcakes are a must-try! Yumm :)
Red velvet cupcakes !! Try them !
Vanilla cake iced with chocolate buttercream departs from the usual. It's a treat.
Banana bread pudding was delicious. But don't get coffee here.
Their red velvet cupcakes are delicious and banana puding .
I have fallen in love with the carrot cake
Banana cream pudding I'd incredible. Get it over the cupcakes !
I hate that I like this place after all the hype from SATC. The cupcakes are good, although not the most creative around.
7(seven!) associates behind the counter take 10(ten) minutes to serve 2(two) customers, just coffee and pastry each. When I open my bag on the train , it's not what I ordered. Ughhhh.
Come here for the banana pudding- the best ever!
Their banana pudding is to die for! My mom doesn't really like sweets but she LOVES their banana pudding .
Their red velvet cupcakes are to die for (as is just about everything else there) but be prepared to wait in line for a while.
Visit the legendary downtown cupcake haunt at its Midtown location.
Best banana pudding ! I get it before I hop on the Metro North! mm :)
Banana pudding and red velvet cupcakes ! To die for!
Amazing coffee & friendly staff. If you're there in the morning, the donuts are to die for. - Vivian Collins
Had the strawberry parfait, good mix of yogurt, fruit and nuts. - Loni French
Surprisingly good Tacos. The burrito al pastor, chicken, fish, octopus/shrimp tacos exceeded my expectations. Fresh corn tortillas were very good; so moist & springy and tasted authentic. 5stars👌 - ℳ𝒶𝓎♍
Awesome crepe cakes and short cakes! Personal favorite is strawberry crepe cake! - Sara Ro
Every week, I stop by here at least once. I either grab a chocolate or a ham&cheese croissant. So many choices, though! What a great place to get baked goods. Friendly staff, as well! - Karen
Best meeting spot, easy to get to, many activities going on, popular store/attractions nearby, nice grass. - Myra Wang
Excellent store, excellent attention. Better than the 5th av. Store! - Carolina Iglesias
Spices and Tease is a MUST. So many options and super friendly staff. - Angie Corcoran
