For lunch , we're partial to the pressed sandwiches , like this Grilled New York Cheddar and Tomato sandwich--chipotle pepper purée, ribbons of coriander , and a few slices of red onion .

Followed the instructions on their chalk board outside: turkey basil sandwich with tomato paired with fresh homemade lemonade . I made the right choice. Lemonade isn't too sweet as a plus. Outstanding.

Amazing breads and bakery items. My favorite are the Twists which come in multiple options... because they are so good, I can never choose just one to nosh on!

Devil's Food Chocolate Cake is the best chocolate cake ever made by man. I've tried chocolate cakes at so many other bakeries , and in many other cities , but this one still reigns supreme.

What's not to love at Amy's Bread? Seriously.. I haven't eaten anything here I wouldn't want a second helping of. Try the hot chocolate .. Wow that's lot of chocolate and a floating marshmallow brick.

The savory breads are good, and the sweet desserts are worth the try as well ! I had the original twist and the coconut dream. Yum.

Get some baguetinnies (ask for some butter too) and get slices of ham or roast beef from Dickson's across the way for an affordable lunch . Enjoy up at High Line .

Amy's Bread puts its spin on prosciutto bread with its black pepper and prosciutto twists that have great pepper heat and prosciutto flavor.

The new smoked salmon is incredible in their homemade sourdough bagels

One of New York's best all-around bakeries--from the breads , to the cakes and cookies , to the sandwiches .

This place has plenty of delicious baked goods , sandwiches and sugary treats.

Amazing mocha ! The flavouring tends towards strong chocolate . A heavy drink and I love it. Will return again.

The almond brioche makes for a nice breakfast pastry to accompany your latte from Ninth Street Espresso a few doors over.

The quiche is a must. The cookies are amazing and everything else I didn't get to try looked fabulous

Their Rosemary bread is what Thanksgiving dreams are made of. If you stop in over the holidays, try their seasonal eggnog latte .

Order a Parisian breakfast - you get half a baguette + butter & jam , and a coffee for under $4. If you go early enough the baguette will be fresh out of the oven.

Try the New York Grilled Cheddar - With the cheddar , there are tomatoes , red onions , cilantro , and chipotle mayo .

The Rustic Italian is exceptionally good. Light and airy with a delicious, slightly crunchy crust . :)

The sandwiches and the chocolate croissant are great!

Make sure you order at the sign "line begins here". Staff gets disorganized when its busy and the tourists clog up the line looking at the pastry case. Its a bit of a mess but the cupcakes are great.
