Took a few tries to get a good sauce. Ended up with garlic/ginger, soy, a little vinegar, and a touch of sambal oelek, which went well with the Thai broth and herbs.

If you're going with a friend get 2 broths - #2 extra spicy and #4 so you can mix them. So

Meatballs + a side of Thai bbq sauce = bliss.

Dipping sauces seal the deal. Avoid Bacon in the Hot Pot , or your cauldron will taste like a McRib forever. Be nice to Jack, and he'll treat you well .

If you've never had Hot Pot , it's a really unique experience. Good for vegetarians and animal eaters.

Go early, it gets crowded after 6pm

Don't forget to go to the bathroom before you get here, you don't wanna use their bathroom .

Be creative with the sauce, it adds awesomeness

I used to like this joint for the unique food style and buffet portions. However, I've had abnormal indigestion literally every time after eating here. The place is dirty and the staff are rude.

Cherry coke goes best with any hot pot !
