Volumes Bookcafe

A very much-needed addition to the neighborhood , especially the bookstore part. It's a neat place to hangout or tinker away on a laptop.

In my opinion, a far better alternative to Myopic down the street. Carefully curated, friendly employees, and a cozy cafe inside, too!

Volumes may be my favorite bookstore in Chicago. Their curated selection of modern classics and new fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that one otherwise may not have heard of is profoundly good.

Raspberry latte is amazing, pretty crowded , but at the same time quiet place . Staff are nice, but very slow with making orders. Also, not a lot of books are there. Very chill place.

The store goes deep and has a selection of mostly new offerings, including a healthy section for kids. Read more
