During the day, this is a great place to work. You can grab coffee from the Stumptown next door, find a seat anywhere in the lobby, and hop on the wifi .

Sneaky great work spot. Long communal table with power and wifi . Stumptown and beers on tap . Breslin food + waiter service. Jams and rustic lighting that'll make you feel cool typing on your MacBook.

I'm a huge fan of Ace Hotels . Love the atmospheres and hidden gems in all their locations. This space has great cocktails and even a photobooth . Hard to find a seat but if you do, stay all night.

Simply find a spot in the lobby, grab a menu & order at the bar . Recommend the beef , cheddar & bacon burger with thrice cooked fries . It's great and more manageable than the lamb one at the Breslin.

Go Sunday evenings when it's chill and you can actually get a seat. There's usually live music around 9 or 10. It's my favorite way to unwind from a weekend.

Great ambience and very big tables to work with your laptop. Free Wifi , you just have to ask someone because there is a new pass every day. They give little white square cards with the pass.

One of my favorite bars in the city . It gets crowded after work but the space is gorgeous. They also have a photo booth if you're into that.

you don't need one of those slips for the wi-fi. on the part where it asks you if you're a guest, just say "yeah", write in some author's name or whatever you're in the mood for, and a random room#

The $16 bagel with lox and cream cheese is $3 overpriced but very tasty and easily worth it to get to work here.

Hipster central. Always packed. It is noisy if you need to make a call or have a meeting. I actually received crap for bringing in a drink from outside while working at a table.

Literally something for everyone. Say cheese with the beautiful people in the photobooth , go downstairs for a rave, grab a succulent burger at the Breslin or an Oyster Shooter at the Oyster Bar .

Drinks are overpriced, cocktails are half-assed, bartenders are sexy but "turn-n-burn". I don't care cause it's beautiful and a fantastic place to get some work done!

Bar on a Sunday night around 6:30 is awesome - not too crowded and can reasonably get standing room or seat at the bar .

The PERFECT place to have a drink while you work. Everyone else is doing it too so you won't feel weird.

Don't try to compete for overrun wifi ; the coolest way to work here all day is with your own hotspot. Look nonchalant.
