Fantastic beer garden on the roof during summer. Also the vegetarian restaurant is quite good even if you aren't veggie / vegan . If you're lucky you might see some celebs or Mario Batali
Make sure to check out their new rooftop restaurant , Sabbia. Opened only 2 months ago, the Italian Riviera-themed decor features cabanas, palm trees , vintage posters and a boat-shaped oyster bar .
I enjoy this place almost as much as two other nationally-themed locations. ‘Swedenim’ – a Scandinavian jeans outlet. And ‘Fondubai’ – a fondue restaurant with a twist of the Middle East.
Whenever you are there must visit Eataly for lunch or just Italian proviant shopping, but be ready for crowds of people there. It really feels like you are in Campo do Fiory, or other Italian market .
eataly is an imported italian grocery store , co-owned by mario batali , that is a PALACE of food - there are multiple little restaurants within it, a beer garden on the roof, and it's really beautiful
This place is a near-perfect Italian gastronomical experience in the form of an indoor Italian street market . Gelato stand, wine bar , and pasta restaurant all serve up topnotch food. Don't miss this!
High up on the roof of the Eataly complex is an Italian version of a beer garden , with a retractable glass roof that opens to cooling night breezes. Read more
Huge upscale market with fresh fruits and vegetables . Pantry items from Italy and on-site baked bread , focaccia , and plenty of Italian restaurants . Once you’re in it’s really hard to get out lol👌🏻
Super weird, but you can't take food from one of the mini restaurants and eat it in one of the other mini restaurants . So figure out where and what you would most like to eat.
Dive into Italy's flavors and aroma. Check the 400+ cheese selection and choose between The five options: birreria, veggies , seafood , pasta & pizza and meat specialties. Tip: Reserve & be on time.
The food at the various mini restaurants is really good and you can buy great quality ingredients you won't find elsewhere (but if you can do, as it's way pricey ). Oh, and best gelato I've had in NYC.
What a playground of fabulous Italian food . Where to even begin? Our suggestion is walk around, sniffing and sampling from all the different stations. Then go for it and indulge in something decadent.
Their hazelnut gelato is really good but I keep coming back for their mango sorbet ... best I've ever had
Italian wonders about here, but don’t miss the perfectly al dente cacio e pepe at La Pizza and La Pasta . Featured in Where to Eat 2011! Read more
Unfortunately you can't order from all the tables but be sure, whatever you choose will be amazing. Try the specials of the day and if you have some space for dessert check out the Nutella bar !
It's a place where you can spend a whole day. Everything is delicious and you can bring the ingredients home after this happy day. Try the Classic Tiramisu on the Dessert place. It's to die for!
The Eataly brand products are actually a great deal here. I picked up some 14 month aged Eataly prosciutto for dinner the other night and my bf and I thought it was the real deal - for $15/LB less!
I love this place!! Having been to the original Eataly in Italy, it was like being transported back to Rome for a few hours. Though much more crowded , I couldn't stop looking at everything
Find the Eataly kiosk in front the Flatiron Plaza , & next to the park . Under the same umbrella as nearby Eataly & Il Patio . Limited menu of pizza , drinks & beverages, ice-cream & granitas
The bathrooms here are solid for a weary traveler. The takeaway desserts and pre-made items are a steal. The happy hour deals at each restaurant are as good of a deal as you can find in NYC.
Obsessed with the pizza and pasta section at Eataly. Put your name on the list and while you're waiting for a table explore the whole location! There's so much to see and taste!
Get the focaccia for lunch . The grilled eggplant is my favourite. If you want dessert , the gelato is a safe bet. A trip to NYC would be incomplete without a stop at Eataly, especially for foodies.
Very delicious pizza slices . Can’t sit down however if you take it from the slice shop. I recommend the Quattro Formaggi with Truffle
I guess everything is great. The restaurants are really good. I had the Piatto Misto Di Salumi & Formaggi at La Piaza and a Capricciosa pizza at La Pizza & La Pasta , both fantastic!
Everything. walk around and take in all the amazing food before making your decision. The chocolate alone can take a while... They have Venchi...an Italian chocolate that is so oo good
Stop by the rooftop or Nutella bar , the rooftop is great with seasonal pop-up restaurants and cocktails year round. The Nutella bar speaks for itself!
This place is like an Italian foodie's dream comes true. It has absolutely everything 'made in Italy' and more. Not to be missed when in Flatiron district.
Totally off the hook. Make your way through the packed people to all of the individual areas. Pasta , bread , cheese , gelato , Italian snacks ... go crazy!
Il Pesce counter for salted cod risotto with caviar $28 and grilled blue fish with quinoa and roasted vegetable salad $24.
Eataly as a brand isn't merely a restaurant , it's an experience! This Flatiron location is my favorite in town . Although a bit touristy therefore, crowded but definitely that's part of its charm
The best restaurant in Manhattan! Good prices, friendly staff , delicious food, and the best thing is that you can buy any ingredience they have used for cooking your meal. Simply awesome!
Start with the pumpkin ravioli with pistachios at the back, and make your way to the entrance to pick up some Tiramisu (HEAVENLY) and coffee . 😍
Pistachio gelato all the way. It's unbelievable. Best flavour at Eataly and maybe the best gelato in the world... Sorry Italy, this is legit.
Need reservations for the roof garden but worth it on a nice day. The egg and prosciutto sandwich place hidden in the middle of the store is a secret gem though, for takeout .
The rooftop at the flatiron location was beautiful, lively .. the cocktails and appetizers delicious
Free wifi and a good study spot for those who like white noise. They have basically everything—coffee, an espresso bar , authentic Italian gelato , a cheese shop , deli , restaurant , and more!
This place is awesome!! Several restaurants for all sorts of food, pasta , vegetarian , fish , nice selection of Dogfish Head beers and food. Very nice birreria on the roof. Definitely a fav spot in NYC!
Mega Italian market with multiple restaurants , butcher , seafood , and cheese counters, bakeries , gelato , coffee , pizza , sandwiches , and more. Great but expensive selection; gets crowded .
With 50,000 square feet of delicious Italian treats, you're bound to spot a star—we bumped into Jimmy Fallon! Tip: Relax with a brew in the sprawling rooftop beer garden before loading up groceries .
When I come here and always eat in the seafood restaurant . It is my favorite. I always order scallops ! But octoplus is a good choice as well . And for dessert I love Terra Cotta, I order in the back.
This is one of my all-time favorite places. Make sure you buy produce in the market - the prices are very reasonable and the quality is fantastic!
Get to the focaccia counter for reasonably priced, gigantic snacks . Just a couple dollars and gigantic. Also pretty fast moving since nobody knows about it.
Great place to browse all kinds of delicious fare. Stop by for panini or any of the 4 restaurants . Don't forget the birreria on the roof or the Nutella bakery on the side.
Has rapidly become a New York convention . Huge posh food hall with spots to eat within, specialising in meats, pizza , pasta , fish ... even an espresso and ice cream bar . Go at night to avoid crowds.
Wow, it's wonderland for foodies! I thoroughly enjoyed perusing the shelves and bought some lovely oil and vinegar. Must return to sample the many in house dining options. All looks divine.
Absolutely amazing experience! Tried gelato , espresso , wine , and chocolates .. All were so authentic and delicious. A feast for the all of the senses.
Great stuff! Eat here, shop here. Everything you can think of related to Italian cuisine , located on 23rd Street near the Flatiron Building.
Good for eat, shop and visit. Excellent food, wherever you eat. Pay a visit to the rooftop , try the pasta on the first floor. You usually have to wait 40 min to get a table.
This is an Italian food lovers paradise. It has everything and anything you could want. Definitely try the many restaurants , first come first serve and the gelato/coffee spot
A must when in NYC, you can be here hours strolling through the shelves, looking at cooking books and eating ! Try the Pappardelle with lamb ragu , delish!
