Geese stroll amongst sunbathers on the grassy area just north of N 7th St. Sometimes said geese waddle onto the mini beach to take in the sunsets over Manhattan. Bag a PBR and join them.

Come here for the best views of Manhattan ! Everybody is here to lay out in the sun or relax and enjoy the view , but the best part of the day to visit is dusk, killer views of the sunset !

This is a great place to watch a sunset over the Eastern Manhattan skyline. You will see both the Empire State building and One World Trade Center from this park .

East River park has great views of Manhattan and a large open yard area mostly a rock bed type landscape but there's some grass to lay out & soak up the views of Manhattan 's skyline & some benches too

Not the prettiest park in terms of the grounds (though the geese seem to love it), but the views over the water at the Manhattan skyline are stunning!

One of the best offerings of Williamsburg is the view from the water of Manhattan. In the summer, the flea market is outdoors right by the park . When you're done, ride the ferry back to Manhattan!

Dan Sohayda

Nice location with unbeatable views of the NYC skyline . Get some food from Smorgasburg, find a seat along the beach , and watch the sun set.

Amanda Miller

Lovely food market on Saturday, but try and get a place in the shade. Or put your feet into the sand at the "beach ".

Its a weird park that obviously is lacking some funding but at the same time it has its history and open space . Read the signs learn about the railroad history here in Brooklyn.

This is one of my favorite places on earth. Walk here after work. Sunday afternoons. Dates here. Time to reflect. Meditate . Meet strangers. I love it.

Visit this park in Williamsburg and then walk east over to Bedford Avenue for great restaurants , bars and shops.

Dan Vanderkam

The gate by the Brooklyn Flea on N 7th is only open on weekends. The park ranger says this is because all entrances to state parks in the city must be manned.

This park in northern Williamsburg is the former site of the Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal, Brooklyn's largest waterfront rail terminal, active until 1983.

Best view of Manhattan , steps away from my apartment . Come with a blanket to lie on, some tunes to listen to and perhaps a bottle of champagne ?
