Interlaken Park is a densely wooded area on the north end of Capitol Hill. The paths and trails throughout the park are frequented by bikers, hikers and joggers.

…They don’t lead anywhere you need to go, but take the trails anyway. You need no more destination, just meander until you’ve forgotten you’re in the middle of a booming city .
This place offers great views of north Seattle. Bring lunch and enjoy a picnic in the city .

Closed to cars sometimes in summer. Hill from hell on a bike if you're not fit.
